Gosh have I battled to get onto the forum! My internet connection would bomb out everytime I tried to log in.

I have tried keeping up to date via the mail threads, but some days its just too much...

That last scanwe went for DR saw that I have a low placenta, so if it does not lift by the time Joshua arrives, he will arive via C sec. And yes, I'm joining the blue team!!!! i'm so happy to be having a son!

As for the Quickening, I started feeling movement theday i got retrenched!lol Guess that was Joshua's way of saying "all will be fine mom".

Ok so for whats happening in my life..

Feeling great.. tummy is still growing well The stretchmarks are getting more by the day and now they have all gone pink and itching like crazy.. sure sign that they are getting worse. I cant do much more than what Im doing at the moment to prevent them from getting worse so what must be will be! *sigh*

Ive had some BH again last couple of days... but what is really strange is that Ive had very little as with my son I had hectic ones at 27wks already.. would that mean something??

Little guy is still going crazy at times.. last night he was stretching from side to side and it felt sooo weird.. wonder what he was doing?? I sometimes wish I had a view of my womb's inside

Ive booked a 4d with Maryke for next Sat morning yipee!!! She was full today prob because of the open day at Genesis.

Guys Im so excited My SIL phoned me on Wednesday to tell me she is 4wks preggie !!! THey have been trying for about 3yrs and she actually has said she is not going to bother until Jan when they will go see a new fertility dr. And her hubby was busy with his year-end target plus all the SARS stuff that needed to be in by end Nov (along with my late stuff ) So it just shows you that it will happen when it should! So I just realised again how much I enjoy being pregnant!! I would do it 100 times if I could.

We will be home most of holiday. Will be spending few days with my sister in Rustenburg and then Christmas with my parents. So Ill be around like normal

And still no name for the little guy.. aaiii!

Lucy, regarding the embroidered animals... if you can get them already finished then its MUCH less work. I wasnt able to find any I liked though. You can also cut from fabric and then just resow them onto other fabric with a little bit of stuffing/batting underneath. Is that spot still eina? I was thinking about it the other day and just thought that sometimes where you get an injection it does make like a patch of thickened tissue.. dont know why? but maybe thats what happened and now that your skin/tissue is expanding a bit its becoming sensitive? Ok about the nipples.. do you mean you have little swollen bits? Not sure what you are referring to but I did notice when I preggie previous time that I got all kinda funny looking bits on them

Great that hubby's company gave him some *bonus* treats How great that Em slept through.. I hope she keeps it uup!!! Im with you.. my son now 20mths still doesnt sleep through. But Im not going to bother about it anymore.. keeps me in routine and when he does wake up he goes back to sleep very easily. And take care of yourself!!!

Jess, ag cute that your son wants to go to ouma while on holiday! I heard that you can take kids to the Airforce museum in centurion.. not sure exactly where.. and they can climb into the exhibit airoplanes etc.. they can even do their parties there!

Joli, ENJOY THE BABY SHOWER TODAY!!!!! Sorry I wasnt able to help you much with the cupcakes.. hope you were able to make a plan! If your medical savings is finished then go to the drs at Intercare at Southdowns. We went there a while ago when hubby had flu and the medical aid still paid the bill (except for meds)!! So I got my statement and it shows that you get free visits if you use drs from their list when your savings is finished! I think you get something like 2 or 4 visits per year.. so it helps this time of year!!

Cath, grrr @ the banks too!! Ive also had such a pain in the butt with Standard bank that Im feeling like closing that account and never have anything to do with them again! But *sneeky giggle* they made an error the other day when I went to withdraw a large amount of money and gave me an extra R100.. so I thought sucks to them, thats compensation for making me drive up and down because they are full of crap

Meags - We have had some chilly days here, and I have 1 warm top that fits. Grrr. But at least you have the fleece now, you'll probably get better stuff once you are there. I am so jealous of all your travels. I love it! My kitties hair is also a pest, I tend to cover everything with throws and than just shove in the washing machine.

Afm - I am DIYing this weekend. Bought a chemical gas vapour mask so I can help DH with some of the PVA paint painting.
We'll be doing the prepping of Tessa's room - so exciting!
I have another question about my poor (.)(.)'s I have developed lumps on my nipples and they look all misshapen now. Is this normal. I have read in the books that you do get lumps, but how do I make sure I don't have an infection especially since I am still leaking colostrum?!

Shame Em's Mom. You have to calm down a bit. I've been lucky so far - no swelling or anything. Did you have problems like this when you were preggy with Em?? Enjoy the party and especially your wedding aniversary. Hope you get time to rest in between all this.

Cath - BH are not supposed to be sore, just uncomfortable - feels like your tummy is pulling tight. That's weird. Are you OK today? I think sometimes our bodies just need a rest.

Meags your scan pics are too gorgeous man . You must enjoy your visit to your mom next week. I'm sure it's gonna be awesome.

Well I'm getting ready to go check out Genesis open day and then I'm off to my babyshower!

Ems mom please mind yourself! No matter what needs to be done, leave it til you have recovered. Shame must be very uncomfortable! THinking of you. I had terrible day yesterday too was in tears at work and had to leave at 3pm and get into bed. Doc said was BH contractions, but they were painful!! and uncomfortable! no appetite, felt terribly grim. Better today. Quite stressful too! Hope you feel better today and also v glad you went and had it checked out and sugar, etc is fine.
