Schatsie, sounds lovely! I can't wait to see pics!! Sorry about the water retention, try keep off your feet as much as possible, and my Dr said we can take slow mag to help.

Meags, that is so cute. Little ones can really do the most innocent magical things :)

Jessica always fun to have friends round :)

Well last night did not turn out the way I planned... around 5 the swelling in my feet and hands got really bad, I could hardly walk, then I started with a pounding headache and slight dizzyness. So DH insisted on taking me to get my blood pressure checked, so after driving around for a while we eventually just went to a 24 hour clinic and the nurse took one look at my feet and rushed me to the front of the queue. My blood pressure is elevated, not sccary high, but seeing I normaally have low blood it was concerning. She checked my sugar and urien, and thankfully that was all still fine, but she insisted I went to the ER. I really didn't want to go to the ER for nothing so phoned my Dr and he said just to go straight to bed and not get out unless I need the loo. Keep my feet up and then see how I was in the morning. So I had a boring night of doing nothing, had to cancel with my friends as well.. I'm still a bit swollen this morning, but not as bad as last night. but I've got so much to do today its scary!

hi ladies

wow what a day. things are just always so hectic!!
so I was at the baby home for an hour and a half today and it was their 'busy' time so we had 5 babies to feed (spoon feed) and about 7 to bottle feed and then i left once we managed to get 9 of them to sleep. it was so cute and weird!! the one little boy is 1 year 3 months and automatically walked up to me (i was sitting on a chair) and started rubbing my tummy!!!! and he wouldnt stop!!
so i said to him 'jonah, where is the baby?' and he would rub my tummy again! (even though i was actually holding a tiny baby)
so amazing!!!!!!!

then i had to go buy asprin as i'm on a quarter each day until we fly. then back home, helped my brother load my gran's antique chest to take to a family friend's house (she will keep it for me for when we finally settle somewhere one day). then to woolies to buy my gardner a birthday cake.
back home, cleaned the house and it took me a whole 30 minutes to vacuum a single couch that my cat sleeps on! she has really long hair and i don't usually vacuum the couch ever as it's in the spare room, but i moved it to the lounge so i had to take the plounge and vacuum it - mission!!

anyways. DH went to work (yes...even though he is on leave) and was suppose to be home at 4pm and now says he wont be home until 6:30pm...aarrgg.

mistymom says hi to everyone and sorry for being MIA. she has a huge deadline for january and a lot of people have started their leave so she is crazy busy! but should be back this weekend :)

schatsie sorry about the wind!! there is always something on your wedding day...for me it was the temperature. it was 44 degrees and NO wind!! needless to say my guests were dying of heat and we had to provide bottles of water for the ceremony!!

Emsmom - sorry about the feet. mine are swelling now too :( I also cant wait for the birth! cant believe only 16 more weeks to go and I have nothing for this little tot! really cant wait to get to USA and prepare the nursery etc.

Tazzy - next week we go to switzerland to see my mom for 10 days so i may be a bit scarce over those days. but then we go to france from 18 dec-3 jan and i will be around as we do nothing while we are there so i have ALL day to sit on moomie!!
apparently it was -10 degrees in france and there is plenty of snow in both switzerland and france and i did not have ONE jersery to my name that fits!! so i have been so stressed. then while we were in durban, we went through stuttafords and i found a Jeep polar fleece jersery which is perfect so i bought it! YAY!

Hey all

We got back from our honeymoon on Wed and I came back to work yesterday. Have been crazy busy here tho, so haven't had a chance to pop in and say hi until now.

The wedding was really lovely, except for the wind which was quite bad and we unfortunately had to move everyone inside rather early. It was still really nice though! Will upload some pics next week.

Our honeymoon was absolutely divine!! Hubby LOVED Montagu Springs and spoilt me rotten and did absolutely everything for me - packed and unpacked the car, etc.. I really felt totally relaxed, spoilt and loved!! He really is a gem!!

Went to see dr on Wed and everything is well. Bleeding seems to have stopped - finally (touch wood!) and baby was very active again. Hubby still doubted the gender since he wasn't with for the scan where they said it was a boy, so I asked dr to check too and he confirmed it: definitely team blue for us.

Otherwise I'm doing well - just retaining some fluid on my legs and still having the lower abdominal pressure, making it sore to walk most days, but apparently that is normal.

Now I'm really looking forward to a peaceful weekend with hubby before he starts his awful week of night shift on Sun.

Hope you all have a good one!

LOL, I try keep off my feet as much as I can, but you know there are things to do, and can't just stop doing them.

Ya I've got the waking to pee thing too, and trying to get comfy, think though its good prep for when the baba comes :)

I cant wait for baby to be here, only 4 months till we have to be on standby :) I'm so looking forward to BF and all that again.

Emsmom - Its no wonder you feet are swollen.... baking biscuits, cooking...... shew you must have been on your feet all day.

Yay for Em sleeping thru. Its funny how we wake up when they sleep through worrying about them. I do the same.
But since hannah had her adenoids taken out she has been sleeping like a princess. It me that wakes up 3 or 4 times to wee during the night now..... How irritating!
