Afm - Finished christmas shopping, woohoo! Last night DH was so sweet, sang a lullaby to Tessa on my tummy and then kissed her good night!
Got to hold my friends week old baby, it was too precious. My little Tessa kicked up a storm while I was holding her.

Mistymom, what do you mean by “Are you doing your pregnancy on a PMB with discovery”. I am on a three month waiting period, which ends end of January. The medical aid info confuses me, but the guy that helped us explained that we will not be able to claim scans, drs appointments, etc. during the three months, but should something life threatening happen, we are covered under the PMB (Prescribed Minimum Benefit), however we will be covered in full from Feb. I do hope I understand it correctly. I do believe he said that the delivery is a PMB and therefore must be covered by the medical aid. If there is anything else I should know, please do tell.

Meags, I do hope you feel better today !! Your hubby sounds really unsupportive, but I am glad that you and hubby did get to talk through some things.

Emsmom, glad to know Harry Potter is worth seeing on the big screen. Glad you had a relaxing weekend, and at least baby things are sorted now.

Hi Cathm, glad that you are still well. It sounds like a horrible dream, guess, we all worry whether we will be good parents.

Kimika, wow your little one has grown so much !! Glad you both are doing well !! Do you have a name yet? It is so cute when the little ones kisses mom’s belly.

Fawhaway, so glad you little girl is doing well !! Sorry about the blood, but at least you know what the reason is for it. Luckily you are home now, you should just relax. Enjoy your scan today !!

Kaylae, hehe on hubby thinking it is a boy – after baby started kicking at a soccer match. Sounds like you had a wonderful time !! I am sure you will have a baby shower too.

AFM: We did a lot of shopping over the weekend and I had a real lazy Sunday – it was so hot yesterday. It seems my kitchen cupboards will be going in on Wednesday and not Thursday, I am so looking forward to it – I need my space back. We still cannot decide on a name for this little one, maybe something will come to us over Christmas.

Meags-Glad all is sorted now but DH must learn to apologies when is due.All will be fine,do you have the book "secrets of fascinating womanhood"if not give me your e-mail ad will e-mail it to you,you can also get the movie "fireproof".They will help put things into perspective and how to react.DH is better since I also changed my ways.

Kimika-You are lucky to get a kiss,I got a punch truly they don' have a clue what is happening.My 12 yrs old nephew told my sister that it is time to hit the gym as her belly is abnormal He really doesn't get it and my sister is not saying anything.

AFM-Went home this weekend to attend my sister's babyshower,boy oh boy the decoration to the food was very beautiful,my other sister even made a babyshower cake,adorable.She got real beautiful and meaningful presents.But the distance left me paralysed it makes me wonder if I will get a babyshower Went to the soccer match on saturday,baby was kicking like never before now daddy thinks it's a boy

Meags, sorry yours didnt go so well.. aaii your hubby is really making your life a little bit more complicated/stressfull than you would probably want. I guess its a good thing you are soon moving to another country so he will have less friends to party with It will be like starting a new life all over again just the 3 of you! Wow and you really have interesting neighbours! Strange things they get up to hey.. I always feel the less you see /hear/ know about your neighbours the better

Joli, shoo I can believe your back is killing you! Its a real reminder that one has to slow down a bit and cant keep going on like normal! I had such a busy Thursday that by bedtime my stomach was aching so bad I had to go lie down in the bath and rub my belly.. hubby was not impressed

I think its a great idea to try book Maryke next Saturday. Im also going to phone the 4d lady tomorrow and see if maybe I can book for Friday afternoon or Saturday early. Otherwise Ill try Maryke too.. I think its a good idea if I book the session right after you and then just pretend your a total stranger and ask Maryke : "so this lady that was just here.. is she having a boy or a girl?" hehe... *sneeky sneeky*

Other thing I can do is go verrrryyy early on Sunday and get first go at the 4d at the babyexpo. Anyone know how much they charge if you go there?

Meags, thanks for the link. I remember now she said he was just below the 50% line for his age.. so he is slightly *smaller* than the normal curve. But she said as long as the growth curve stays on track then the real weight doesnt matter.

Agg my son kissed my belly today.. Ok so he had no idea what he was doing (too small to understand the whole baby thing) but it really was sooo cute!!

I've seen my stomach move and its amazing - had it with my son the 1st time and its funny how you recall all those memories.

From my side - had a reasonably quiet weekend. Had a braai with my folks yesterday, watched the rugby (game was very boring). Today went to Makro and bought bulk cleaning material. How exciting! LOL And made Chicken a la King for dinner. Eventually sitting on my ass and relaxing for a change.

DH doesn't know it yet but he's giving me a foot rub tonight! LOL My feet are killing me!

Kimika - sjoe your baby is so big already. I wanted to go see Maryka over the weekend, but then she was fully booked. I'm going to call her just now to see if I can perhaps see her in the morning perhaps or otherwise next Saturday. My baby is so active, so I'm sure all is well, just a bit curious on how big he / she is.

EmsMom - glad you enjoyed the movie. I don't think I will be able to sit through a whole movie anymore. Really just to uncomfortable sitting.

Had a 4 hour shoot this morning (and 2 shoots yesterday). Then my printer broke and I couldn't print my customers CDs! I was so annoyed. Hubby went to buy a new printer so at least that's sorted now. But my back is killing me. I will really have to slow down as I can't stand for so long anymore. Hubby took the girls to the park and when they came back, he bought us icecream and then Megan finished hers and then told Kayla that sharing is caring and sommer took over Kayla's icecream as well!

My babyshower is in 2 weeks time! I can't wait.

Hi ladies

WHAT A WEEKEND.
Friday night DH went to a party without me which I was upset about And also upset as I had to go pick him up from Sandton at 1:30am!!!! I was also very down on Friday and just wanted him to choose to rather come care for me than go out. Which he didn't. Anyway. At 7pm I was getting ready to join my brother and his friends for dinner and my neighbour was shouting for me to come help in an emergency! So I rushed over and she took me to another neighbour who was almost unconscious and vomitting blood. So rushed him to hospital and he was put into high care. He has a ruptured stomach ulcer.
Then joined my brother, went home and waited to fetch DH. He said I must wait for his shout about when to leave home. He smsed at 12:45 to say they are leaving the party (a bus was driving them back from the west to Sandton). So I left at 1:05am, got to Sandton and receive an sms from him saying "I'll be there in 5 minutes. Can you open the door". So I replied saying "What door? I'm in Sandton". He replied "I'm at home."
AAARRRGGG I was so mad!!!! He got the bus driver to drop him off and thought he was doing me a favour. But he never told me not to go to Sandton!!!!!!!!!
When I got home at 2am, he didnt even apologise and just said "Well you didn't wait for my shout..." I was like "What the hell was I suppose to think when you told me you were leaving the party??????"

So that didnt help for my mood. I cried SO much. Saturday we spent the day arguing and trying to discuss everything and finally we did manage to talk so things are better.

Faw - glad baby is doing well and they have identified the source of the bleeding. Please let us know how the scan goes tomorrow!
