Morning girls

I'm happy to report that my doctor's appointment went well! Dr did a vaginal scan instead of abdominal and reported that my cervix is perfectly closed, YAY! Who ever thought I could get excited about the state of my cervix! LOL! So I guess this pain/feeling of pressure is normal after all, but like I told my DH2b last night, I'm walking like a duck nowadays - and I'm barely showing yet, so I don't even want to know how bad it's going to be in a few months' time!

Dr still doesn't have a clue as to what is causing the bleeding, but says baby looks perfectly happy. I only saw his back and dr said his spine looks perfect.

Gee, I just want this pregnancy to be over and baby to be here now! I love being pregnant, but I'm SO paranoid about anything that can possibly go wrong! Does anyone else feel this way?

Taz that was sooo sweet of your ex boss hey. Shame brought tears to my eyes now. So sad that he got killed - SA needs more bosses like that! At my previous company, I told them at 6 weeks with K and at 13 weeks with M - my boss was at least OK with it, but I knew it was going to be a problem here. I also only started here in January, which makes it a bit more complicated, but at the end of the day, if you employ a woman, you must know that she can and might fall pregnant! I am not going to feel bad about this. The plan is to not return anyways, so I really don't care. If I do have to work after baby's birth, I will try to look for something else anyways.

Joli - He must have been known it was coming, cos with that round tummy of yours...
Aren't you leaving work though after maternity leave? Gosh why do bosses have to be so insensitive about this. This is not the first time Ive heard of this.

With my first preg I was still working and was also soooo nervous to break the news...but when I did my boss ran up to me and gave me a huge hug! I was so shocked! He was truly so nice to me throughout my preg. My last 6 weeks I only half day.
He was sadly killed in July - knocked off his mountain bike - But i will remember him forever.

Kaylae - why is the names cutting off for you? I can see the names. Maybe it's your pc settings?

Yes Taz - I could just never tell him before. He is very weird and uninterested. Before when I told him that I had to go to the Dr. etc. he just said OK - not even looking up from his desk and never asked why or anything. So ya. And once they asked a temp to leave when they found out that she's got a newborn baby. When I asked him about it he threw a little tantrum about women leaving their babies to work and that he just can't understand how anyone can do that. So ya. Oh well, at least now he knows. I've mailed my midwife asking for a sick note.

Baby's been measuring big for the last two scans, but Mayryka said that he / she might slow down later on which I'm hoping for.

My babyshower is on 4 Dec - MIL is arranging it - she said it must be done before xmas when everyone still got money, so not long to go for me.
