Here's my little angel's 3 month picture. Now that he is talking and laughing he really is getting cuter by the day!

My mom came to visit last night and saw the tantrums he throws when I bring him anywhere near my breast, so I finally gave in and went to the pharmacy this morning to get the tablets to stop my milk. They gave me 2 tiiiiiny tablets to drink today and tomorrow as well as Vitamin B6 which apparently also stops milk production. I also asked for some painkillers because it has been really sore and swollen since yesterday. Let's hope all this is over soon! My doctor also said I had to wear a tight sports bra for 2 weeks from taking the tablets.

Tazzy your little girl is SO gorgeous!! The pic with the flower and giraffe is the cutest!!! She has such lovely big blue eyes!

Libra my son also LOVES standing! He prefers it to sitting or lying down and really needs very little support to stand. My husband says he walked at 7 months, so is convinced Arno will too, but I am quite comfortable with waiting for the normal time so that we can have peace until then.

Tazzy - A is Gorgeous .... With a capital G !! I was borrowing the lansinoh pump, had to return it before mauritius. So now just using nuk electric. The lansinoh is way better.
I am not sure what made T sleep through but she has been since about 9or 10 weeks. She never slept in the day so I guess she was tired, I also used to make her cluster feed at night. I honestly wake her at 5am otherwise I won't get her 7 feeds in. Our routine is feed 5am 8, 11, 2pm, 5, 8, bath, feed again and into bed! Hope that helps. When I needed to stretch feeds out I did it in 15 minute increments every 4 days. Good luck.
I think a meet would be great! Start work on monday but am fairly flexible!

Joli what a pain about the pump. The nuk one has a faulty switch and most days when I was in mauritius I would have to hold it on to pump. My thumb nearly died! Can you not get a 2nd hand one to see you through?

Libra - I've got the medela breastpump - bought it 2nd hand as the manual Avent did not work for me. I needed to express when Callum was in NICU. But now the medela is giving me problems - it's quite old - so I am thinking of buying another one but not sure if it's worthwhile as Callum is already nearly 6 months.

Libra - I live in Howick - in the Midlands. No moomies around here!
The Medela pumps are meant to be the best so im sure you will enjoy it once you actually need to use it.
I cant keep up with pumping at the moment. Im going to have to start pumping twice a day soon. ive been expressing milk for Amelias cereal.

I hope Megan sleeps well tonight. Lucy, thats a brillaint idea of microwaving blankets!! Ive been usung 3 wheaty bags in her cot. I also use a oil heater but turm in off once i get into bed. i hate having a heater on all night. it dehydrates you!

Probably should have bought myself a lansinoh breastpump, bought myself a Medela double electric pump, paid R1900 for it and its sitting in the cupboard - using my Avent manual pump I received as a gift. Getting the big 'I told you so' from my DH. I wanted an electric breastpump because I want to pump during my lunch hour when I'm back at work and saw the Medela pump. The sales lady said it's one of the best, but I don't like it much.

Lucy I am definitely going to try warming up her blanket. I'm hoping she's going to sleep well tonight!

M is getting so cute now, I just want to eat her up!! She loves standing, I cannot believe her legs are so strong already. She pushes herself up when she's on our laps and stands for a few seconds, we off course need to support her, but she's really strong!! My husband recons she's going to start walking early, who knows, my dad's uncle was 6 months when he started walking?? I don't mind if she only starts walking when she's one, they become real busy bodies once they start walking
