Mmmm... sorry about the sort of flat feeling now that hubby is back... Maybe its just because you both have so much on your minds now with the baby, the move etc. Hopefully everything will seem more relaxed and you can bond some when you both settled in your new home!

Emsmom ~ LOL at the spicy food... Im also loving it and I actually hate spicy food! I love the green Tobasco sauce (the jalapeno one).
May everything go perfectly well with your sister. ((hugs)) And don't overdo it with the cleaning... The last few week of pregnancy you'll be getting the same urge again!

Kimika ~ I was looking for a name that meant something real nice, Christian based, and Kiana means "Living with Grace" and "Divine" and Isabelle means "God's promise" and "beautiful"
So I just fell in love with it so much. Hubby chose the second name actually, Isabelle.

Jessica ~ shame man, I know how you feel... now that we stay in George we don't have that many friends (been here 3 years now) and most of my friends and family is in Jhb, so I also dont know if I will have a baby shower this time. If I do, there will also not be many people attending, but I'll make the best of it anyways.
Hope you will still have one even if there is not a lot of people. You can always make it so the men/ hubbies come too and make it one big celebration party! The men should like it as well, even if they wont admit it always. LOL.

LOL Meags! Yip some ladies just disappeared. Don't worry about your feelings - at least hubby is back and you guys are moving soon and I'm sure once everything is settled and you can just concentrate on baby all will be fine.

Well I'm typing from another pc now - 6th day at work without a pc and my boss don't want me to work from home, so I'm basically doing nothing. Painted my toe nails this morning and then went to gym and now back, sitting at the receptionist desk . When she's back, I'm going to the mall!

I bought myself a maternity bra from Woollies on Saturday - it's soooooo comfortable! Sjoe my boobs are huge!

Went to Kayla's ballet concert yesterday. It was so beautiful. Will start Megan with ballet next year when she is 3. Shame she enjoyed the concert and was clapping all the time, but she didn't recognized Kayla and when K came off the stage, she asked her what's on her face (they painted her face black as she was a bird) and then she said: I didn't know who you was!! I didn't know!! Who put this stuff on your face! Shame she's too cute.

Both the girls are now kissing the baby (tummy) in the mornings to say buy.

Sjoe I've forgotten to make a new appointment with the midwife. Must phone them today. Went to gynae at 17 weeks and I'm 22 weeks now, so it's time for a check up, but this coming weekend I'm shooting a wedding, so will have to make the appointment for when I'm 24 weeks - will sommer see Maryka then as well for a scan.

Discovery still did not get back to me re PMB - mailed them about 3 weeks ago! I also called to register with Discovery Baby and still nothing - more than 2 weeks ago! I'm frustrated!

Strange re the wedding on a Monday Meags. Are they Jewish?

Would have loved to meet some of you on Saturday and it's so close to my house, but ya, going to be busy with the wedding.

I'm so depressed after reading the stories on how well the baby showers went (and those that are still coming will probably go!)

I know I'm probably going to sound very shallow for saying this (so please forgive me!) but I ALSO want to be spoiled! LOL

I didn't have a shower with my first baby and I know I won't have one this time either. And here is how I know that....

My best friend stays in DBN, and 2 of my aunts.

Here in Gauteng I literaly have a handful of friends (as in 5 or so?) and some family members that I don't see very often at all.

I don't have anything to do with my husbands family so they're out of the equation.

So at the end of the day I'd be lucky to have a guest list of maybe 10 people.....(including my mom & future SIL).

I had a lot of BH yesterday and they are quite uncomfortable and now accompanied by some backache so will speak to the gynae about it tomorrow at our scan. cant wait to see how much Matthieu has grown!

so...I'm a bit confused about my feelings...it's so nice to have DH back, but honestly, it's like he was never gone?! and I think he feels like that too. I kind of expected to lie in bed, watching him sleep and be so excited he's back, cuddle a lot...but it wasnt like that. Things are just completely normal???!!!

I am going to a wedding today...yes TODAY! how bizarre....it starts at 4pm and I guess we wont stay too late as DH has work tomorrow.

Had an estate agent around. I'm a bit annoyed. They are so manipulative. I told her I dont want to sign a mandate and want as many agents working on the property as possible and she sat with me for an hour and has basically convinced me to sign a mandate! I didnt sign yet...but she's very good with her words....

AFM, actually doing ok now, my little sister goes in for surgery next week and then my folks arrive there the week after. She is being very strong, but has started seeing a therapist so she has someone other than her DF to offload on.

I think I'm hitting the nesting stage, I'm normally fussy about keeping the house clean, but now I keep wanting to re-arrange cupboards etc. DH is trying to stop me from climbing up on chairs etc to clean.
Oh, I got one good hard kick from baby last week. S/he is moving a lot more, esp after I eat and then lie down.
I cannot get enough of spicy food, I now carry a bottle of hot sauce with me in case, I have it on my eggs and everything. DH thinks its very funny
