Glad that everyone is doing well - I haven't been able to respond & comment as much as I like but I read every update that drops into my inbox at work during the day!!

My next appointment is on monday. Excited to see how Riley is progressing!

Work currently still fails to hold my attention for very long, I'm easily distracted the last few weeks....

How is everyone else doing then?

hi ladies

the scan was fine everything is looking good - no abnormalities or anything but seems he has my shortness for the moment I really was hoping he'd get DH's height do I HOPE he does some serious growing soon!!! He now weighs 351g (I was hoping he'd be closer to 400g but anyway...)

I definitely hold the record. I have officially gained 10.4kg! I am totally shocked and sad. I asked the sister why I am so fat and she said not to worry, my metabolism has probably slowed and there's no concern for now... but geez... it has to slow down at some point??? Gynae also said nothing about it...

I really dont have any pictures to share except one of his foot! Didnt get any decent 4D shots and the others are just the general pictures of the spine, head etc.

She said he is just extremelly active and it took ages to get a view of the 4 chambers of the heart due to his moving so much. She said the only thing she can say for sure is he's definitely a boy! (will post that pic too).

Kimika I have all my scan dates for the rest of the time I'm in SA.

02/12/2010 (just under 24 weeks)
10/01/2011 (29 weeks)
20/01/2011 (just under 31 weeks)
think it's a bit pointless having those 2 in January but she wants to do a final one before I leave on 22 January for USA

Meags, how did the scan go? Dont stress about the weight gain, my Dr told me unless you gain like 40kg, dont stress. It has no impact on the baby and is basically just you needing to get rid of it after, which BF helps do wonderfully

Karin, so glad to hear about the water in George, I know how much it was needed

Misty and Karin, try snaking on rasins for the tiredness, they give you a natural energy boost, if that fails herbalife thermajetic tea also gives a lovely boost, I've been living on it

Joli, thats so sweet with your kiddies I love how Em is with my tummy, its nice that they are so loving and happy. Children are natural carers

Anyways, I'd better get cooking! Mom is coming for supper as daddy is away till friday.

Hi Mistymom! Sheez, so quiet here today again!
The dam in George is standing at 61% full, so I don't know about the water restrictions any more... they were there a few months ago, but things are looking much better now again.
Yeah on your sister that arrived! Hope you have a lot of fun and quality time with her.
Enjoy the gym - Im struggling to get there.. so darn tired and lazy in the evenings.

Kimikaka - sorry cant help with the thrush...beleive it or not never had it before (touch wood). Hope you "carch" and sort it before it gets any worse!! Good luck with discovery! Shame man!! Looking forward to seen your baby belly pics....

KarinM - Im there with you been tired! i was exhastued from 1-3 months then had about 2 weeks feeling normal....now waking up a lot during night so exhausted durong day! OOOh that has happened to me before with freezer! At least there was not a lot in it or it can turn out very pricey!!! YAY on rain in george! ARe you still on water restrictions their?

EmsMom - glad you feeling good! What a good idea your sister is seen a therapist! Wishing her all the best..lol on carring around your spicey sauce!!

Meags... did you sign the sole mandate? I dont know much about it but cant see the benefits? OOh love the belly pics! How much weight have you put on in total so far? I was reading an article in an old your pregnancy where a lady had put on 18kg in her first pregnancy and lost it all again within 4months of birth without much effet (besides BF)..hope thats me! Cant wait to hear about you scan later!

Jessica - that is plenty people for a baby shower....even if half of them are family....

Joli - are so sweet both kissing your tummy!! Surethey cant wait to meet the new baby...have you contacted discovery re pmb? I think they reveiew them on a thursday...i submitted mine on a wednesday and got an ans on the friday! Maybe give them a call if you have heard nothing yet? regarding the vitality baby....i registed at 12 weeks...now 16 weeks and still waiting....thank you for reminding me, shpuld give them a call!

CathM anTazzy - wow oooh cant wait now to have my scan tomorrow....dont you just love having them?

AFM- yay sister arrived yesterday!!! So nice to see her again! Have gynae tomorrow, cant wait. Also have recently started gyma gain and loving swimming....really want to be fit for birth. Poured with rain this am in CT and was surprised that I coul just squeeze into my old"fat" jeans...but really will need maternity jeans soon!!!
