Karin/ Kimika - I got a brown nappy bag at woolies for R199 and a caboodle denim rucksack nappy bag on special at Baby City for R199!!

Anje - Good luck for the exam and for the building. We have been doing extensions and it does get stressful. I think the end result makes it worth it though.

Misty Mom - So if you go collect at take2, do you not pay postage? Are they in durbs? Yes it is the angel sounds, sorry for the mix up!

Meags - On the back of the machine is like a big circle that protrudes and that is what you put on your belly. I have just been using water to conduct the sound and it works great.

Lucy...yay on getting the doppler! Sure you must be having fun with it!

I just have a quick question...is it angle care or is it angle sounds? I have looked on Amazon and angle care do not seem to do one as far as i can see but angle sound does (its pink adn white). Is that perhapse what you have? I also looked on bid or buy and the same anglesounds one keeps coming up (BTW it is R450 on bid or buy ex postage and R380 (amazon uk) or R371 (amazon usa) via Take2 ex postage.

I LOVE Take2. They are also just down the road from em so collect all my goodies - save on postage as well! As SA can no longer buy off amazon you can now buy from amazon via Take2.co.za. I find a lot of their things so much cheaper than any other online shops or noraml shops. Go to the take2 webpage then click on the MoreUK or MoreUSA..then on a seperate page open amazon.com or amazon.co.uk adn find what you want, copy the whole hhtp bar thingy on the top (sorry not sure what it is called) adn then past it on the space on teh take2 website adn it will straight away give you the exact price in rands!

Some of my latest purchases (REAL BARGINS) is the Anglecare nappy disposal unit (R188 - cheapest i have found it in sa is R350 on special) and I could not help myself with this one....a while back DH and I were brosing in Bargin Books and i came across teh Mr Men books. I LOVED these as a child. Anyway they were 5 for R99 - already cheaper than the R40 at exclusive books...anyway the whole set (50 books) would have cost R1000! They had teh full set in a lovely box and i could just picture it in my nusery adn reading them to the little ones as they get older. Of cors I could not bring myself to spend R1000 on a box of books when we have much more necessary items to buy. SO when I got home i did my usual looking on the internet for them (price check. loot etc) and then i found them on Take2 (more Uk) for R560!!! Yay...much better than the R1000 at bargin books or R1400 at exclusive books! I collected them the other day and I am so happy. The only problem is I find so many bargins! My wish list is sitting at about R20 000! LOl. So i have to make sure that i budget for the necessary things first!

Have just looked at JJ cole (the nappy bags) but they are unfortunitly not any cheaper! :S

anyway let me go see what is in teh kitchen...im starving!!

Hi ladies

Anje dont worry about the weight. all babies have different growth patterns so perhaps your baby had a growth spurt around then.

Mistymom that sounds great to meet! EmsMom did you get my sms?? I had originally said to meet at 12:30 but perhaps we can make it 13:00? And Mistymom if it suits you to bring me back here maybe that suits EmsMom too?
My number is 082 667 0108 so keep it handy on your phone (SMS me so I have yours too) then we can finalise details for tomorrow over sms rather as I dont know if I'll come back onto Moomie tonight.
I wore a swing dress today (not a good idea with the wind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Lucy - I have received the email from Crystal about the doppler. how exactly does it work? I initially wanted the one that had a small probe that you use to hear the heartbeat but it looks like you just place this whole machine on your tummy?
