I hope you are all superly hungry this morning!! *grin* So my mission for the day is to not eat anything with sugar or anything fatty and NO to toast with butter and jam Oh and to drinkmy 1.5lt of water!

Joli, ahh thanks for the nice comments on my photies!! Coming from you I really feel proud My sister has photoshop and some basic knowledge of it so Ill ask her to help me. I really struggled to get the focus on the right spot.. dont know the camera very well. I so just want my own good camera!!! I want to take pretty pics of my baba one he is born!!!

Ooo I think having your hubby's sister over for that last bit of pregnancy is NOT a good idea You will feel like you are having to keep her happy too.. is your hubby worried that there wont be anyone to drive you to Genesis if you go into labor?

Im a bit doff.. when you said the *background* I wanted to say its scrapbook paper But to answer your real question.. Im not making them for sale at the moment.. considering it to get some extra $$$ to spend on my babas. Ill def let you all know if I get into it more intensly. But any day Ill bake for my preggie friends

I Know that you follow another religion, but here is a verse that I hold dear to me. and I know that when I am going through a hard time I can read this verse and feel calmer. Hope it brings you the same peace as it has done for me.

I have kept you in my daily Prayers and I know that everything will get better. It might not be in our perfect time, but the father above has the best and perfect timming....

I know what you mean, my Df often has to go away for weeks on end with the work he does and knowing that he will be away also gets to me.
I'm sorry that he does not get it like you and all the other mommies do, but he is a man after all (lol)
I think it is kinda sweet that he said no to his buddies, but agree that he can do a little more like take you to dinner or something.

AFM - I have decided to wait for the 20 week scan to find out the gender, I do not want to get all excited just to be disapointed if the Gynae was wrong.

Also knowing me I'll go crazy with buying stuff.

Hi MistyMom - did you tell your boss?? Well I still didn't - eish.

Kimika - I LOVE the pics - they are really lovely!! WELL DONE girl! If you've got photoshop, just try the following - put an overlay layer on and reduce the opacity - just to bring out more colour. 3rd pic to lighten the background a bit and last pic to blur the background a bit. I also would have put the focus on the first ice cream thingie there and not the second. But overall they are really lovely and very creative!!

LOL Meags re your midhusband he he! Shame hope your hubby is going to spend some time with you now before he goes.

AFM - got so annoyed with hubby last night. He wants to plan for what IF baby arrives during the day and he is not able to get home fast enough. So now he wants his teenage sister to come live with us for that while. And I don't want it. I'm gonna be tired as it is - already HAS to work until end FEB and now when I go on leave must cook for an extra person, worrying about someone else in the house instead of just doing my own thing. He doesn't understand. I mean it's not like the baby is just gonna fall out with the first pain! And he keeps saying ya but what if this, and what if this blah blah. Doesn't want a home birth cause what if there's not enough hot water, what if there's a mess, what if something goes wrong etc. etc. Men!

Faw-boy oh boy I am so happy for you,see now everything is falling into place,a new job and annulling the marriage.Your husby is cold hearted but believe me you the court won't grant him custody so don't even entertain his craziness.

Meags-Hugs my love,men just don't get the term quality time period and tomorrow they say it is your hormones pushing me away bull.Woohoo on the male mide wife or rather midhusband,men are gentle speaking from experience had and still have a male gynae,i feel more at ease with males than females.Good lick on the scan today,can't wait to hear baby's gender

AFM-just had cramps the whole night but feeling fine and energized today.

Faw, thats great news!!! Congrats on getting through.. now we are all praying for you to get that job!! Pls let us know as soon as you have any news. As for your husband.. how can he ask to take your son if he is not even the one that is going to look after him?? That would be very cruel towards your son and I dont think any court would allow that!

Meags, ooo firstly its a little bit weird about a male midwife!!?? very strange indeedo... But if he is good he is good.. I guess... They say that male gynaes (or then midwives..?) are more sympathetic (sp) than female. Have no experience with a male gynae so cant say. So obviously to call a guy a midwife is strange.. shouldnt he then be a midhusband? LOL

As for your hubby.. never mind spending the night with you or taking you to dinner.. gee he is going to be away for a few weeks so what about sex!!?? One would think he would try to fit as much of that in to last him for the time he is away Shame maybe he doesnt realise how much you are going to miss him!

oh and in other news...i have managed to get in contact with a midwife in Miami...wait for it....he's a man!!!!! Not sure how I feel about that?! but he won top midwife this year so he must be good?
