Joli, it is a tricky situation. Good luck on telling him. I would tell him now if I were you. With my fist pregnancy I got pregnant between signing my contract and my 1st day of work. I stressed a lot, but decided to tell my boss as soon as possible. I did this as I wanted him to trust me fully.

With this pregnancy I found out I'm pregnant in the last month of my year "probation". I am on a fixed term contract. My boss is extremely slow with his admin and I still don't know what will happen with me from 1 October. I did get a "deffinitely yes" out of him when I asked him if I will still have a job at the company by December (want to go overseas over Christmas). As I'm already starting to show and feel terrible all the time (people even ask me what's wrong), I can't really hide it from him. At first I wanted to wait until I have signed my new contract, but I decided to take the risk and give him the news. I did this with some reservations, but again I felt it is very important that he must know he can trust me. And by telling him now, I also show him that I trust him to not let my pregnancy count against me in any way. So yes, I'm taking a chance, but I trust his integrity.

Good Morning Preggie Fairies!

Meags can you not try and make the tea party a bit more 'less tea party' if you know what I mean. Where you having it? Maybe make it into a mad hatters party and the guess can decorate hats and you can set up outside next to a pool or something. Can be fun. I gave out little thank you gifts at my baby showers.

Oh shame man MistyMom - I never had morning sickness like that. Only felt nauseous, never actually got sick! Hope you feel better soon.

Kimika - apply for the job man. If you don't get it, it's OK, but try anyways! Well let me tell you, when I was preggars with Megan my husband seriously thought I'm not going to want her as I just couldn't imagine myself loving another child as much as I loved Kayla. After Megan was born, when Kayla came to hospital I burst into tears thinking - how could I do this to her??!! But ya you do love your 2nd or 3rd child just as much. Now I'm feeling guilty again for having a 3rd child! It never ends! But at least this time I know I will love the baby the same. LOL on the nipple story he he.

It's really hard not to find out the sex, but I REALLY want this to be a surprised! If EmsMom can do it, I CAN TO!!!

EmsMom - my MIL is already busy arranging my baby shower for December when everybody gets bonuses :P ! A friend of mine arranged the last one and my MIL wasn't impressed! They made me do all these weird things like sitting in eggs, painting my face etc. etc. etc. so ya, MIL said this time she will do! Can't wait as I'm not buying anything until then.

Well I'm in bed every night before 9 and I don't get any work done. I used to edit photos each night until 12 or so and now I'm so behind it's not even funny. Must try to catch up a bit this weekend.

Other than that, I can't wait for the weekend to start. Going to do some gardening, got 2 photo shoots and the kids are going to my MIL. We are going to my SIL's BF b/day party at Rodizio's. Girls I still need to tell my boss I'm pregnant. I've only been here 9 months and he is a bit weird. He once carried on about how he can't understand how a women can leave small babies at home to work! And we never really talk, just the normal hello and buy and pls sign here etc. How do I tell him???? I can't just walk into his office and say I'm pregnant. He sits in his office the whole day (mostly with the door close). And he is the type of guy if you reply to an email or email him for something, you need to start the email (each time) with Dear ....... and end with Kind regards etc. etc. hmmmmmmmmmm HELP!

I am working and always tired, after work I take an hour nap, wake up to my chores and by 8:30 back to sleep yet it is not helping.I go throughout the day drinking cold water or juice and chatting with you mommies

Emsmom even if I can say I do not want it I know my friends will do a suprise one and really it will be fine.I find it helpful in a way especially if there is a gift registry.

Meags eish that's a difficult one cause I also have a friend who mc on July and now I found out that I am preggies and do not even feel right discussing these things with her cause I can hear from her that she wants to try now for another one.Eish

Morning ladies! Its Friday and I can feel good things in the air, I'm so in the mood for a party!!

Meags I also find it best just not to get involved in planning these things because someone always takes over.

Out of interested, how many of you second/third time moms are having a baby shower this time? I am apparently, but I have put my foot down at the traditional shower - I want a swimming party/braai, with my guy friends there as well.

Misty I really hope you feel better today! Thaat can't be fun - maybe talk to your gyane and see if maybe there is something else you can take for it??

Joli I'm still def not going to find out the sex - Em is kinda understanding now we can't buy pink. :)

Kimika, mail them back! maybe say you are even willing to learn, and take on a lower salary than they have offered??

I hope all you lovely ladies have a wonderful day today!!

Ok Ill go update everyones c-sec and appointment dates.. pls just check that I get it right :)

Mommy-Jess, I didnt work with my first pregnancy and often wondered what other preggie ladies do when they are at work and get sooo tired! I guess you just have to go sleep early at night? But I must say that with this pregnancy I havent really felt so tired.. also there is nooooo time for a nap with my 17month old son! Also when I was preggie with him and took a day nap I found myself waking much more at night.

About the eating.. you will most likely regain your appetite by 12wks, maybe even before that!

Joli, once again your little girl is soo cute! Im sure she understands, but like my little guy is also going to have a shock once baby is there and they have to share mommy's attention and playtime :( Shame, I actually feel so bad about this!

Dont start with maybe finding out the sex! You will get me going in trying to convince you to do it :P Im so curios its almost too much not for me to know everyones babies' genders!! hehe

hehe, Meags, I have learnt to stay away from co-organising these kinds of events :) So I have no advise other than good luck! Favors are ok to give if she can buget them.. most stork-teas Ive been to lately has given them..

Jessica, Im sure you are going to find out the gender!! Also think Cath will get 100% confirmation :) Next week is going to be sooo exciting!!

Lucy, thanks for the tips.. my dieet is not too extreme, only it doesnt really allow for things like biscuits etc.. Im just finding it hard to stop once Ive started!! Ill have one biscuit and then end up going back to the packet about 10 times until *with shock* I realise Ive eaten the whole packet. aaiiiii :silly:

Yes the PMB can only be done after 12wks and as far as I understand you already have to phone in to Discovery for that authorisation of the birth thingie. And that needs to be done between 12 and 24wks

ooo Mistymom shame man!! :(

Ok so about the job, sorry my post is getting long AGAIN. They replied to me and Im a bit nervous.. the core experience is a little above what Ive ever done, but not too much to be able to learn. But I dont really think they want someone they will have to teach first?? I looked up the agency on Jobmail and seems they do lot of recruiting for large supermarket chains, so Im thinking this position has to do with the bakery part of one of them like eg. Spar or Pick 'n Pay. I dont really have exp in that! Also has a lot to do with layout of bakeries for new stores and buying of equipment and things. So Im sitting here not sure if I should even reply?? I mean Ill be 4months preggie next week.. can only pull in my tummy for max another month before it gets obvious. I would hate to lie to them! If I werent preggie or maybe not so far along I would totally be up for the challenge but now Im not so sure??!! But then again the salary they say is R18k PLUS all those benefits!! Thats huge.. for me anyway :) What do you guys think?? What are the chances that they will negotiate the salary and take me on kinda a temp position until January or so?? Ag I just dont know what to do!!!!!! *frustrating*
