Hello all preggy fairies...

My name is Karin, I'm 31 and expecting my 3rd baby. I have a daughter aged 10 and a half and a son that is now 3 and a half.
Baby is due round about 8 March 2010, but I'll have to have a scheduled c-section again which will most probably be around 28 February if all goes well.
Hubby is 32, we live in George, Western Cape. I work from home for my company in Jhb. Very luck indeed as they kept me on when we moved here almost three years ago.

I don't have that much time to chat through out the day and some days goes past without me being able to, but I love seeing how everyone is doing and getting tips and advise now and then.

Will chat again soon! Enjoy those preggy bellies, time goes wayyy too quickly once your pregnant.

did any of you listen to cape talk / 702 this morning? On rudies show she had a guy from preggy bellys. I am so mad as did not know it was on so only caught the end 10 minutes!

I joined Virgin (only R80 a month through my medical aid) to start exercising again and then found out I was pregnant 2 days later. So have not been going as heard do not start excercise in first trimester if you have not been doing any. Also heard to avoid steam room / sauna. So the only excerse i have been doing is walking (loads).

Anyway when do you think it will be safe fro me to start doing a little light excersice at gym....and what is safe??

Lucy no problem about waiting until 12 weeks. You almost there anyway!!
I must admit, I too am so nervous. 4 more full days until the scan and I am anxious. Actually it's quite funny, this is the longest I've waited to have a scan!!!! And that's only been 2 weeks and 2 days

Kimika, I am also trying quite hard to not gain so much weight, but I have gained too much already!!!! At least this week I lost 500g because it was really getting bad...Need to lose another 500g-1kg in the next 2 weeks then I'll be ok.
But honestly, when I'm hungry, I need to eat. And I need to eat something filling, not just a piece of fruit. I suffer a lot with feeling dizzy and weak so the eating helps a lot!!
I am trying not to over eat now, but also reminding myself what will be, will be, and I should just be grateful I'm even pregnant!!

having bad day...ms all day, came home at 2 and slept a bit!
