Meags, I also started showing at 8 weeks with my first one. I used to say it's because I'm old(er) and have experienced quite a bit of stretching and shrinking in my life...

Unfortunately for me everything gives me heartburn, even if I have nothing to eat I have it. The joys of pregnancy .

Rakker, a week before I found out I was pregnant, we were out drinking (A LOT) and I had TERRIBLE heartburn which I never get. In the back of my mind I wondered if there was a small chance of pregnancy...that was only at 3 weeks!!!!!!
Luckily since no alcohol now, I havent had heartburn
I think my tummy started at about 8 weeks. but it's my first baby so I'm very confused as to how I can be showing. I know it is just the fat for now, but it's a bit harder than normal fat!!

I can't believe I already have a bit of a tummy at just more than 5 weeks. It's crazy! I mean, what is happening that causes the tummy? I even thought it might just be gass... And what's up with the MS and heart burn so soon already? Last time it only started at 8 weeks!

(I'm not complaining, just wondering).

Kaylae, my tummy has also popped out. It's not HUGE, but you can see a little tummy now.

It has become so quiet on this thread since the moomie shut down last week....what's going on????????????

I wanted to go to preggie bellies to exercise but it's bloody expensive!!!!
They suggest 2 sessions per week which is fine. But they also suggest you go up to the birth which is going to cost around R5000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So now I am not sure I want to go...
for 35 sessions it's R3800. That will keep me going only until 27 weeks which then seems pointless?! They say if you stop before 31 weeks you lose everything you gained from them

Meags - I wouldn't, even if he expects it .... it may be concidered breaking his trust .... that is very hard to build up again!

AFM - 10 week scan today. Super super nervous. We are going to tell the grannies and grampas today. I know they'll be so excited. Inlaws arrive today from pretoria so that worked out well with the scan. It is also my sisters 30th and she is in the UK. So I made a plan to go "toast" my sister at my folks this afternoon after the scan ......hee hee!
Oh please please let evrything be OK.
Not sure if I will be able to post again today with all the news breaking but will try this evening, if not tomorrow!

Tazzy thanks for sharing as my tummy is starting to stick out and it is too early for that.hope baby can behave till further notice .I will go have a look at mr price
