Hi Bella. A friend of mine went through this last year. She's 33. She went through the whole process (clinic in Rosebank) and found it quite easy and exciting. She however, did not fall pregnant and didn't go back as she met a guy just after that and she now has a baby boy with this guy (baby was born at 26 weeks, but is doing well and is home already).
Anyways, on being a single mommy. It's not really so hard. When I had my 1st daughter at 26 I was so ready for a baby. I didn't go the same route as you, but her 'sperm donor' was and is not around at all. I was single for nearly 4 years before I got together with my current husband and in all honestly it was much easier being a single mother than being married with 2 kids, trying to keep hubby and the kids happy. You are the only one making decisions, so there's no fighting there etc. etc. You eat what you want, you bring up your child the way you want.
The most difficult thing on being a single mother is that you are all alone. It's hard to go out just to buy bread and milk for example. But you've got friend, family, nanny around, even that should not be a problem. And off course, sharing your pregnancy - you get sooo excited about things and there's no one to share it with

. But that's where this forum comes in handy

.
Every woman deserves to be a mommy. Best of luck and keep us posted.
