HOW SOON COULD DR TELL THE SEX OF BABY?????

With my 1st pregnancy, dr told us it's a girl at 16 weeks. He told us he's 100% sure, otherwise he wouldn't tell us anything. She was a girl.

With my 2nd pregnancy at 15 weeks 5 days- dr here couldn't see anything. At 18 weeks went back to my old gynae while on holiday in SA, he again confirmed another LG.

My gynae says some doctors will say it's a girl just because they don't see a penis.

Some gynies tell at 12 weeks, our baby didn't want to show what she had between her legs at the 12 week scan. We went for a 4D at 14 weeks and they could clearly see its a girl. Both sonographers where positive about it. My friend was 13 weeks and they also said its a girl. I know you didn't ask about 3D and 4D, but even there they do the sex on 2D as its the only way you can see so early on. So it both of us where told girls, and both still expecting girls at 27 and 28 weeks...

found out at 13 weeks its a girl. and dr was positive about it. got it confirmed at 18 weeks. now 35 weeks its still a girl.

I was 16 weeks when we found out.

The 1st appointment was at 12 weeks and it was too early. Second visit was 16 weeks and found out it's a BOY. Our gynae checks with every scan if it's still a boy or not simply because I was convinced it was a girl.

My sil explained that at 12w there is a 'thingy' that with a boy will always 'stand up', but with a girl it goes 'down' before 12w. So they cant realy see the sex, they guess it with that this early. Her doc told her at 12w it looks like a boy.

At 15 weeks we found out that we were having a boy and it was confirmed at 20 weeks.

Preni, I know the dr can see from about 16 weeks, but some seem to tell sooner.

All at about 12 weeks, but only boys??
