HOW SOON COULD DR TELL THE SEX OF BABY?????

My gyane didn't ay anything until my 16 week cehck up, I don't think she was even interested in looking as she would rather be certain.

At 16 weeks I told her it was a girl, I just never thought it was a boy, and felt very strongly that it was a girl!

She said she was 99% sure that it was a girl , but would confirm that at the 20 week appointment and has confirmed it at every appointment ever since. At the 4D scan, there was no doubt in our minds that it was LG.

My Gynae could tell at 13weeks with both my girl and boy. I only really believed it at24weeks with my Foetal Assessment though.

With my LG, im almost sure i was over 20 weeks and then it was confirmed it was a girl...

With my son (which we lost last yr at 20 weeks and 4 days) it was confirmed at 12 weeks and 5 days it was a boy and i was so excited and you could definately see it was alittle boy..

I was told the same thing as what Esmari said. With a little boy it sticks and with a girl it points down.

I was told at 12 weeks it was a girl from a 2D scan.

My LG hid her sex for long but I knew in my heart it was a girl and at 18 weeks the dr said even though he was not sure since she always crossed her legs and I used my senses till birth to confirm.

With this one I think I want the sex to be a suprise

My dr told me at 14 weeks im having a boy. i was so happy to hear so early on. And you could see it clearly, he was lying open legs the whole time and you just see his 'thingy' pointing out.

With this LB in my tum-tum i had a new doc and he said he does see 'something pointing out' but he is not going to confirm, this was at 15 weeks. the scan after that he confirmed it.

I think it depends from doc to doc, some are a bit scared to say anything as they make you happy and you go out and by all pink or blue and then its not correct.
