Miksmommy they not sure what caused her to go into premature labour, they are still busy running tests..

I am feeling so unsettled today, had a toasted bacon, egg and cheese croussant earlier and then a tempo chocolate, ever since my tummy just does not feel good.. Nibbling on a naartjie now so hoping it will help...

mutha2b! CONGRATULATIONS on your PINK bundle of joy!! ooooo now i understand!!! that is a long time away from each other... thank heavens for skype and technology! I am a serious skype junkie... it makes it so much easier to keep in touch with all my friends especially those who live abroad. Is hubby going to be here for the birth??

Googlebug... sheesh... its scary to think that in about 20 weeks we are all going to be holding little bundles of joys! i have done nothing about our spare room yet.. there is still junk everywhere!

Champers @ same thing happened to a friend of mine. They found a week before her c-section that the baby girl is actually a boy! We were talking about it the other day and she says it really upset her terribly at the time cause she felt so unprepared to have a boy... they had everything pink and no boy name...

AFM @ feeling a tad more together. I wonder if its the hormones that are messing with my moods... i finally have a little boep too so at least i look pregnant now and not just fat... baby bean is moving more which makes me really happy!

google I found that the trick was just letting hubby's hand on your tummy for some time. He will feel it. Talk about baby shoes. Are those things just not the cutest things you have ever seen? They are so small

Ladies-this morning I realised why people get so shocked when they see me. I really look huge. I have a huge side mirror at my house but a full length one. So I never get to see myself completely until today I say a reflection of myself. I am huge Very huge.

Gyn is happy with everything. Baby is a GIRL. I was secretly hoping for a boy but I praise God for a healthy baby.

I'm counting down the weeks until i land at OR Tambo. I can't wait to see my mom. My grandfather passed away and funeral is this week but i will unfortunately miss it.

Miksmommy, my hubby is a diplomat here (France). But i will be giving birth in RSA and until baby is about 3 months. I cannot speak French (tried a few lessons but gave up and it also gave up on me

I can't imagine 7months without my husband though. I guess we will have to skype......

My girl kicks like a soccer player. That is why I had mistakenly convinced myself that it was a boy.

Just taking a break from work coz my brain is fried.

Tanya, I feel terrible for that poor lady that you work with. But the law only allows you 6 weeks maternity leave if you miscarry in the third trimester, if its in the 1st or 2nd it is just compassionate leave or sick leave (she should have taken sick leave and compassionate leave). Its amazing what chancers employers are, I have a family member due to give birth next week and they tried to convince her that by law she can only have 6 weeks maternity leave!!!

GML and Tanya, i hope mine stops hiding from hubby soon. There is definitely more movement in the evenings and right after I eat (especially if it is sugary foods).

Champers, at least you don't need to worry about clothes. So far we haven't gotten anything (I only bought one pair of tiny baby takkies coz they were just so unbelievably cute). @ Champers, I don't think I'm going to plan a baby shower (though it would be nice if someone gave me a surprise one). We've finally cleared our one spare bedroom, now we can start buying the big baby things.

Wow, 4 months... so close yet so far.... something tells me the rest of this year is going to fly by.

Tanya- It's a great feeling isnt it? It puts a permanent smile on hubby's face.

I just hate how management can treat people sometimes. Couldnt they have given her 6 weeks (that the law isnt it?)

Champers- I'm probably going to have mine mid November. I know my friends will make it a surprise thing.

Where is mutha2b? Did you manage to find a French and English speaking person to accompany you?

Movements are hectic. I can feel the baby move from one side to the next. It's a funny feeling. Like a sizzling type of feeling.

Hubby is just happy, he can just put his hand on my belly and he will kick. It's as if the baby responds to him. I have also noticed a routine.

In the mornings 8-9am he is active. So I say morning to him and chat a bit.
Then he moves around throughout the day (no strong kicks just me feeling him move up and down or to the sides.

Then he is active around 7/8/9pm. Really strong kicks. Because his daddy is home and normally talking to him.
All the funny stuff happens at night. Like the belly button thing and lopsided belly.
