GML, have your baby's movements inceased, remember from our last chat you mentioned that were getting impatient?

I forgot to mention, DH finally felt a movement from baby, think him feeling the movement just makes it more real apart from seeing me expand over night... ..

Remember that lady I mentioned to you all that lost her baby at 19 weeks, well she returned to work and is still very cut up over her loss which is so understandable..She just emailed me now saying, that management is been so insensitive towards her, they want her to supply a death certificate to allow her compassionate leave, can you believe the nerve of them!!!!!!..They also only allowed her 3 days leave, I mean this woman is hurting emotionally and she had to deliver her baby she needs to heal physically as well.... ....

I really feel for her..

Morning everyone!

Just a quick touch base... Kicking like mad, MS not gone. Got given a huge bag of second hand baby clothes from my aunt which is unbelievable. Half the things are new and the outfits are too cute!

Have you guys started to think about when you are going to have a baby shower? Since I'm due end of November, I was thinking middle to end of October. I know its a while off still but want to plan.

We are going to wait till our next scan, next week Friday, just to double check its a boy before we paint the room blue. The doc says that no one believes what they are having until the baby is born and they say "Oooh you were right". My aunt told me a story that this lady did the whole room out in pink. No holding back as money was no issue. At the next scan, they said sorry, its a boy! She had to redo the entire room.

Another friend of mine was told she was having another girl until she had her 5 month scan. They told her then that its a boy.

This pregnancy feels like its going so quickly. Can't believe I'm 5 months already. Only 4 left! Just a crazy thought that in 4 months time, we are going to have a baby. Wow! 4 months is nothing...

I checked in here yesterday but just couldn't post for some reason.

GMl, the belly button thing must have felt weird. The other day I was rubbing tissue oil on my tummy and I also noticed that my belly button looked slightly dented in. But when I checked again a few minutes later it was back to normal.

Mutha2b, how did it go? Could you tell if it was a boy or girl?

Tanya, my next appt is almost as far away as yours, really hope we can tell if its a boy or girl by then.

Baby's little kicks seem to be getting stronger and more frequent, but hubby still can't feel anything.

Anyhoo, back to work now (been swamped this past week). Ciau!

sorry i was so quiet yesterday, i was out of the office for most of the day and the rest of the time i was stuck in a meeting... grr.... hopefully today will be better!

LOL tanya... poor hubby!! Hope he has recovered!! there is nothing worse than "wingerdgriep" LOL poor man! I love the baby/preggy magazines too! I am also not reading any books at the moment... waiting for payday so i can buy the hypnobirthing book!

Mutha2B... keeping my fingers crossed for your appointment today! Hope you can see if its a he or a she in your tummy! If you dont mind me asking... were do you stay?

AFM not much to report. Baby seems very lazy... i dont know if every baby is different? but i remember Mik moving around a lot more... i get one or 2 good kicks and then nothing... I think i'm getting flu and the whole situation at work is getting me down...

Ladies, last night we were sitting watching tv and i felt this pulling sensation from my belly button. I looked and my belly button was pulled in completely. I showed my hubby and he was so surprised. He kept asking if it was sore. It's not sore but the fact that I couldnt see my belly button was weird, hubby stuck his pinky finger there to see how deep it was .

Then after a few minutes, baby let go and I saw my belly button coming back up. SO weird.

It happened 3 times. I guess someone has found a new toy

Thanks Tanya. I hope hubby has recovered now.... My hubby apparently has flu again. This is the 3rd time this month. Thank God i haven't been ill.

Will let u guys know what is my baby's sex........hopefully it's a PINK!!

Everyone is so quiet today. I trust all is well with you guys, Miksmommy, GML, Googlebug, Champers, Maryke? Hope i don't forget anyone....

I ate too much now i can't sit, walk or breathe. I will never do this again. It's the worst feeling ever!!! Now I have a pain on my left side under my breast.....
