@Champers you are right we are all in the popping weeks:) still doesn't help with the impatience. Will try the bath thing. Muslims do bath and shower, can so even with their hubbys, no restrictions the only 2 are no nooking when bleeding (period) and anal nooking otherwise we are good to go

Quick question are you packing pacifiers/dummies in your hospital bags? And can they be used immediately if you want to breastfeed?

Hope you're all feeling good.

My shower was nice. It did not turn out the way the ladies hoped it would but it was good non the less.

2 of my friends had to attend funerals, 1 had to go to her sons school thingy, my sister was denied leave on Saturday, the other friends child had a high fever and could not make it. But I still got lots of things.... Clothes mainly.

Got everything I need for my bag, I even got a breast pump. I dont want engorged breasts.
I'm hoping not to bottle feed for alteast 4weeks, then I can express for hubby to help with feedings.

FF- take it easy. Let the hormones subside first then make your decision.

Tanya/simone- Thank God the pain is gone.
Google- I cannot wait. Seeing that I'm leaving when they werent expecting it they asked me to come in on Friday for a short while for a small baby shower. How sweet is that. Wasnt expecting it at all

Shame, I just took my cleaner to the clinic. Her tummy is upset. Now I need to get into some serious house cleaning. Till laters ladies! xxx

Oh my FF... I agree with Google, we are over emotional at this time (well for the past 9 months). But I am sure you know exactly what you are doing. Strength to you and we are here for you.

I'm with you Google... This morning I probably had the WORST morning sickness I have had all pregnancy. I won't go into details but my word!

I had to tell my cleaner today about all the things I was not happy with. She used my hand towels last week to clean with and put them back so they were all wet and dirty when I went to wash my hands, she took my kitchen clothes to clean with when she already has about 6 clothes, didn't empty the bathroom bins or wash the showers or shower doors and "didn't have time" to clean all the rooms. If I manage to do it all in a day, then she can, afterall, she's a professional cleaner. I feel a bit bad today though because she isn't well. But I've told her if she isn't well, I don't want her coming to work. I also told her when I picked her up, we can leave today if she isn't well but she wanted to still come to work. I will just take it easy on her since she's sick.

I can't believe you guys are having your showers so late!

Tanya, I'm glad that the pain has gone now. That is so scary when you don't know what the cause is. I hope it stays away.

Suhaila, I hope that your throbbing feet and backache go away. Get hubby to give you a footrub and take a nice soaking bath. I'm too scared to bath now because they say it can bring on labour so showers only for me! Although, you are muslim hey so you aren't allowed to bath?

FF I am also popping the 30th ..

Yesterday went into a bit of a panic mode, I had this throbbing, aching pain that came and went way down below on my right close to my ovary, at one point I wondered if it could not be my appendix...Thankfully the pain is gone as I was seriously considering calling my doc today to get the pain checked out..

On Saturday is my babyshower, I have decided to wait and see what I get and then Sunday make my last trip to the mall and get what I need and that is it...

My bags are packed just a few odds and ends to add but most importantly it's packed.

Let me get this day started, will chat again later..

Fancyface, sorry to hear about the divorce. Just make sure that you're doing it for the right reasons and not because of the preggie hormones talking (please don't take that in the wrong way, its just that we all tend to get all impulsive and hormonal right about now... but only you know where things are in your marriage and your reasons for doing things). Hope it all works out for you.

FF, I think Suhaila is also in KZN, so one more moomie on your end of the world. But yes, it seems most of us are in Jhb.

GML, I'm sure you can't wait to leave that horrible place where you work. Do you have any idea how far into next week baby is likely to arrive?
