Geez GML, that must have been very scary. At least you managed to do the deed... My poor husband has a cold fish of a wife. Not interested AT ALL.

150km from the hospital!! Thats so scary!!! I'm only 20min away. Takes away a lot of stress. I'm not even bothered by the hospital bag.

I have a domestic starting on the 2 Nov. She'll come in once a week. NOT happy about it but its for the best. I won't be able to clean this house properly. Also gives her a bit of time to get used to our house before Ty comes. I am making a list of things I want her to do because I am never happy if someone else cleans my house. I'm a little Hitler.

GML @ you made me laugh... I do love Fridays.. I force myself to work every night of the week but Friday nights I do nothing! I sit on the couch and relax, I think that is why I look forward to Friday's so much! Its the only night I really give myself "off"!!

that must have been a scary experience... what did the hospital say? is it normal to bleed after sex so late in pregnancy? I can just imagine your hubby racing around trying to find you pjs... LOL

Google @ luckily my boss is easy, he says I can work until I feel I can't anymore! Suits me fine cause I don't get paid if I'm not here... and I must says that our finances really worry me. I know I'm being completely ridiculous but I can't help stressing about it!

Looking forward to a great weekend - my 3 ''bestest'' friends from school and varsity are coming to visit AND its my babyshower!!!!! Whoowhoo!

Time is running out very fast for most of you now - very exciting, but sooooo daunting as well!

I'm also starting to think about the hospital bag, struggling to find nice pj's. AND I have to pack a bag for my hubby as we live about 150 km from the hospital, so he'll stay over for a night or 2. So I'm making lists for 3 bags!

Oh Tanya- I know about that bum pain.

Most of us had it in the first trimester. Mine has become worse. The minute I lean back in my chair my bum hurts. I wonder how I will manage to push baby out with such pain

Google- I'm going to ask Doctor to book me off as sick a week before Maternity leave is over. I want to go home so that I can help my mom celan the house to prepare for the baby seeing that I will be living with my mother for the 1st month or so.

Last night hubby and I made love and immediately afterwards I had some blood coming out. For an hour and then it stopped.

I wasnt worried but my hubby insisted that I call the hospital to find out if I should come in or not. They said there was no need to come in and I was relieved. I kept thinking that I dont have decent pj's. I sleep in my birthday suit in summer and hubby's old t-shirts in winter. I cant exactly take them to hospital with me

So this was a motivator to hubby to ensure that we get moving on the hospital bag. This weekend I 'm getting everything...

My Maternity leave is the same as Tanya except that I come back on the 22nd March. Hopefully, I wont have to come back

Miksmummy, my plan was also to work as long as possible, perhaps from home via 3g at the end if it got too hectic, but my company requires a letter from your doctor if you work more than a month prior to your due date (stupid- who wants to sit at home for a month doing nothing? I'd much rather have the time off after baby is born). My doctor was only prepared to give me a letter for two weeks before though, so 26 November it is....

I love the idea of painting a children's ward, very rewarding for you and so many kids will benefit from it. Just don't over-exert yourself.

Tanya, that doesn't sound like fun at all. Hopefully we will all be relieved of our aches and pains soon.

I'm so glad its Friday... I still haven't decided on maternity leave... I am really going to try and work until I no longer can. Luckily I sit on my bum all day..

I have no idea how much painting I will be able to do... I told them I'll try and paint and the rest of the time supervise their efforts! LOL
