I'm much better... my stomach is ok, no more dressings and well... I'm alive, I still have pain on my right side, but I've been driving my moms car last week for the first time and this week 2ce... slowly getting there....

Morey was just under for kg with birth and now he's 6.2kg...

Sah & GML... I am a mother of 4 kiddies too, I do not agree with Kitty (sorry no offense and I must say I'm so happy we all have our own methods) But leaving your kid to cry, is just not for me, I wouldn't be able to do it...

GML our sons have the same sleeping patren, and I know you tired, but this passes so fast that by the time he is one you not even gonna remember the sleepless nights.

I have to admit yes I get tired too, and I was in pain for a very long time, but I'm not going to let Morey cry... I have ruby who's in school and she will never forgive me if I do a thing like that to one of her brothers and sister... I did it to her once when she was just under 2years, and still she has not forgotten it... she said spending that hour in the room made her feel like I hated her... and I'll never do that again.

With Morey I pick him up and I'll sit on my bed and hold him till he sleeps again, some nights when I really can't stay awake I'll leave him in the cot to drink... but he has never really gotten a chance to scream lol coz Hailey will run to him and shout at me baby the baby is crying he's calling you mommy...

I up untill today has 4 amazing kids. They know I'm there, coz as a mom even when I use to work my kids come first, I can't handle kids that cry and thank God I haven't yet had one that will cry and cry and cry...

I know Kitty's way WORKS it does work, my sister did it and so did my friend... but when I look at their kids and mine, there's a big difference....

I believe the kids didn't ask to be here you planed them you wanted them and having to be there for them is all you have to do for the rest of their lives...

Maybe I changed a bit after almost dieing... but my kids are so muture for their ages, it's nice...

Another tip instead of watching tv (my kids and I play games) our fav game is words.... and it's easy sothat all ages can join

Anyway I'm always finding myself writing essays lol....

Hello ladies

Kitty- great news. So happy for you.
Miks- poor baba. Can't be nice at all.

Lesego is two months old on Thursday. I'm taking him to the 8week injection instead of the 6 week injection.

Kitty- lesego also coos and aaahs when he's awake. Isn't funny how we see these personalities develop. Lesego moves down the bed and he lifts his head and chest up so high. He supports himself well with his arms. Can't leave him on the bed for a quick pee anymore.

Miks- I haven't made plans for baby. I'm going back next month and I need to find someone.

kittyjvr @ so glad your little nunu is doing so much better! FANTASTIC news! We serve an AWESOME God!!

Wian is also a pretty good sleeper! We are still on 6 - 12 - 6. He got a bit of cold from his sister so last night was HELL. I went to bed at about 2 and had to get up again at 5. pretty exhausted today! took him to the dr but she says there is no sign of infection or fever so its just a cold and it will get better, we must just wait it out. My poor baba!

Apart from that, we are all good!

W is having his 10 weeks injections tomorrow! time sure goes by fast!! Has everyone sorted out arrangements for baba when you go back to work? Can't believe I'm back already!! And I had to take a half days already for today and tomorrow so that W can stay at home! LOL Luckily I know it does get better, its just the first year that is hectic and baba gets sick from everything!!

Hi ladies

How is everyone doing with the sleeping problems, and how is your lo's doing.

My lo is doing great was at the 6 week checkup and im so glad for all who prayed for him because our God is great. Claytin has 100% hearing in both ears now and the neckmass is so small and it is just getting better day by day. he is growing nicely and he is 58cm tall and have a great weight of 6 kg for a boy his age. so my little one is drinking 175 ml x 5 feedings of formula and 125 ml water everyday and he sleeps from 10pm to 8am in the night and in the day he has naps for up to six hours, He smiles alot and saying goo goo gaa all the time when he is awaike. just have to share my lo's progress.

Hope you can sort out the sleeping problem soon

Morning ladies

Suhaila- lesego sleeps for 4 hours straight at night. The least is 3hours. During the day it can be anything from a 10min nap, 30min, 1hour nap or 3hours.

I put him down between 8 and 9pm. He will wake between 12 and 1am. Then he will wake up again anytime between 4 and 6am.

Trying to get him to sleep is a mission though.

I've decided that I'm putting the stars on his cot up now. Its been standing close to my bed with the one side down.

Happy birthday Gml;) your description to miksmum is my lo exactly, he goes from half asleep to wide awake too.

Maryke I'm envious. My lo sleeps 3 hours at night only and that's the longest stretch

The boys are fine LLewellyn is smilling daily now but not Aiden, but Aiden coos alot and not Llewellyn

I haven't started forcing any sleep training yet except for putting them to bed half awake half drowzy

I have change there routine a bit I bath at 5;30 now and then they sleep till 8:30 or 9 then from 9;20 to about 1:30 then from 2 till about 5 so we only stil get between 3 and 4 hrs a stretch

Miks I fed my lg also from about 4.5 months and will do the same with the boys I found she wasn't a fussy eater like my neighbours son that started solids at 6 months

But o well each baby is different
