Unbearable to get little dressed or nappy changed

Thanks Charlotte, that is really good advice, just a bit too late for me! My LG is 20 months old!

When it comes to feeding both my kids have chair and they do not get food if they are not in the chair. Lorelai (8months) still does not understand that, but i put her in the bumbo with the tray and then she gets to eat. she will walk around and come back for a bite (opens her mouth) i pick her up, put her back in the car and then she gets to have a bite and she only gets to climb out when her mouth is empty. yes this makes feeding time last for about a hour, but in the end i think they start to get that they need to sit to get food. also when she gets a bottle she will be put in her cot not anywhere else.

What do you ladies do when LO runs away when you want to feed or change them? This is also getting to me now, she thinks its really funny!

O my goodness, it doesn't seem to get better when they get older!

Well I tried to sort out my LG's cubboard over the weekend and needless to say, I didn't get anywhere, everytime I fold it up neatly she takes the very bottom of the stack to try and "fit"! Once she came walking to me very very slowly, trying to put on pants, but both legs through one pipe! Just saying "mamma help!"

Hahaha Joli, my older son does that too. Some of his choices are quite well how do I put it? Not too sure there is actually a word to describe it! I think he gets his dress sense from his Daddy

He he and when they get to 2 they start choosing what to wear / not to wear. Megan's been sleeping in her panty only for the last couple of months, once she wore 7 panties for the entire day ! Or she will wear her pajama top, with stockings and takkies and hubby will take her out just like that! Oh and she went to bed a couple of times in her mickey mouse costume. I've given up on trying to get her dressed, but will sometimes try and bribe her, like take her clothes with when we go somewhere and then tell her she can only get out the car once she changed.

What all you ladies said is so true. I have made peace with a lot of things, but now I will also start to accept that he is just very busy and does not like getting dressed or the nappy changed. I have tried toys and things, sometimes it works and sometimes he just throws it a meter away and start to babble away and throwing his moves. Quiet sweet.

When I said I wanted to TTC, many people told me, are you sure, don't you want to wait first I just through a blind eye and said yes, I am sure, if I never try I will never know.

And today I can say with great pleasure, I am proud to be a mommy to such a beautiful child that is a pilar in my life at this moment with out him knowing it. I am truly honored.
