I'm with the other momies. Stop with the night meals and she won't have a reason to wake up anymore. Also struggled with LO not eating enough during the day and want to make up for it at night, I wasn't having any of it. He still tries his luck now and then at night and asks for a drink or even food but its a no no. We've done it once only since we stopped night feeds and I had expected it that night. Other than this its a no. It will create a bad trend, no one eats at night in our house and that includes him.

Brandon was also a HORRIBLE eater, i tried everything from begging, fighting, giving extra formula during the day to leaving snacks out all day so he could nibble when he was hungry.

What eventually worked was 2 things. I stopped giving liquids between meals (unless it was really hot and then it was strictly rationed) and then I stopped making an issue out of getting him to eat. If he did not eat at meal times, he missed out !

It broke my heart some days when he would cry cos he was hungry, but I stood firm that he could only eat at meal times and at his mid morning & mid afternoon snack time.

And now he eats like a horse. he cannot get enough, cos he knows that if he does not finish his dinner a) he does not get dessert and b)he goes to bed hungry and there is no water, juice, milk etc during the night.

In the beginning I would only give him meals that he LOVED to encourage him to eat, so if he had toast or pronutro for dinner, so be it, at least he was eating (under MY terms). Once he got used to the idea, we were able to get him to eat the correct food at the correct meal times.

Hi Julz

I will try as from tonight to give less feeds during the night.

She drinks 3 cups of Black Rooibos Tea during the night, so will try and make it less and force her to eat smaller amounts of food more frequently.

Hi Claire

No problem

The thing with Kylie is she isn't eating good at all so she gets hungry and we believe thats why she gets awake..

She refuses to eat and whenever she eats, its one or 2 bites then she's done.
