Hey Marilu,

Glad to know that she is doing better. My son had the same thing as I explained earlier but once the sores appear that after that it everything gets better. they start to eat and drink again.
In creche in spreads quicker and yes anti virals help ease all the symptoms.
All the best
J

@ Marilu - I was just going to ask how Migs was - glad she is on the mend.

Just an update - Migs is finally better!! I couldn't take her to the doc on Monday cause I couldn't get off work. She started eating again on Monday night and yesterday she ate like normal. Her gums are still a bit sensitive and bleeds when she eats hard foods but that is minor.

I went to the GP yesterday (got a cold or something) and he said we should have put her on anti-virals..then the virus wouldn't have lasted so long. So just a tip for those who's kiddies might have/get the virus!!

Thanks Huggles and Julz, will definitely keep Antoinette Daphne in mind..have to make a plan to take her there ASAP.

my therapist knows all of the homeopaths as her husband is one. Antionette Daphne is amazing apparently. She told me to take Dylan to her which I have not done as he got better. Only issue is she isn't a gp but apparently she is really good so great suggestion huggles.

Just googled and also found Antoinette Daphne in Durbanville: www.medpages.co.za/sf/index.php?page=person&personcode=54074
But I don't know anything about her or if she's any good...

Oh I hate that, just when you find someone nice they up and leave.
I've heard there's a good one in Kenridge who I think is a qualified 'normal doctor' as well. Try calling 021 914 1134 - I think that's their number.
