potty training: seat or potty?

Julzdylan... that is soooo funny!!

I think I will try the seat first (my LO is really tall, I think she might be fine with a step stool) and see how it goes....

Dylan really surprises us sometimes.

this weekend the potty was in the loungs. Yes, in the lounge! Anyway we were watching a film and the next minute Dylan is just standing there peeing into his potty. Boys!!!!!

I would not leave domestos in the bottom of the potty. Kids stick their hands into potties!

I wash the post straight away and have not had a hassle cleaning it.

Neither of mine liked the potty. We had a few - they would play with it but never used it.

The seat worked better for us!

Boys are easier though I will say that!

we also got one of those small step stools at crazy store and he can get on and off the toilet himself but most of the times we help him.

and yes, we also potty trained our LB with stickers

Luckily the small pottys are cheap so you can try those. remember you get the cute animal ones as well!

and then you also get the seats for the toilet that has the handles on in different colours and motives. saw a helloy kitty one once!

im not sure what the bumbo (sorry its bumbo not bambino LOL) seats prices are!

I'd be worried about domestos around toddlers!!! We've never had a problem getting the potty clean - dump the contents in the toilet and flush. If the potty is small enough it goes into the toilet and the flushing usually cleans it perfectly otherwise a quick rinse under the tap does the trick.
