It's from Natura, but you can't get it in Disem. It's apparently blended for homeopaths and doctors. Where do you stay? My homeopath is dr. Patrick Fieuw in Paarl. He is very good! I've been with him since about 15 years ago. I'm not against a strong myprodol and antibiotics at the right time, but I do believe in building up immunity.

Nienke got tonsillitis three times in the beginning of this year. He gave me stuff and when she got sick again I didn't give antibiotics. I pumped her with natural stuff and thyme tea. She got better in three days and I believe she built up immunity by herself against it. (I did give a panamor suppository for the fever though). She hasn't had it since. Apparently it takes your body VERY long to recover after taking antibiotics, because all the 'good' stuff gets killed as well.

When I went there I just had a two week spell of Rotavirus. I was so sick, was on a drip twice and it took me LONG to get back to normal. (Had two courses of antibiotics). My immunity was only functioning at 60 percent, which is incredibly low! So I am working hard on my immunity but recently caught a stomach bug again and only felt a bit nauseous for one day. NOTHING like earlier this year.

So it's definitely worth a try...

Can you only get the Immunolex from the homeopath? Is there anywhere else you can buy it? I've never heard of it. Took logan to a homeopath for a while (After he got his 9th course of antibiotics at 10 months olds! :ohmy: ), but she never mentioned any kind of immune boosters really. She was the one that initially told me to take him off wheat and dairy to help get his immune system up and running again as she reckoned he was developing sensitivities to them as a result of his gut being so messed up from all the antibiotics.

Yeah, it could be that. I got Immunolex from my homeopath in Paarl for Sion to build up his immune system. You can also give her Colban which is apparently the next big thing in immunity-boosting.

I also lOOOOVVVE dairy! Cheese and chocolates!

Deja, thanks for explaining, I think I am going to give the rice milk a go. My LG had 6 colds in the past 7 months and found that she got sick after she was "binge eating" on dairy. I know the real culprit is the pre-school, but dairy makes it worse in times when her body is under attack from Ebola-creche-viruses! Shame, and she loves dairy: cheese, yogurt, milk, chocolate... :cry:

Apparently it is fine for lactose intolerance but if you have a sensitivity to cow's protein, then you are very likely to have sensitivity to soya as well. You'll see under "allergens" on products it states "cow's milk, soya, wheat" etc. So I am sure your daughter will be fine. But I am only learning these things now.

I buy Woolies rice milk. It's the only place I can get it here.

Ahhhh.....Okay, I had it all wrong! I thought soya milk is fine for people with lactose intolerance. That might explain why my LG still gets post nasal drip even after soya milk, I should try rice milk! Which brand do you recomend?

Gloeiwurmpie, apparently soya has the same effect as cow's protein on them. He has to drink rice milk. He likes it actually. It's very sweet. Soya milk is awful! :sick:

Nienke teethed so easily. Sion not. It takes really long to cut through the gums and I think it itches way before. He only has four teeth. So still a long way to go!
