Thank you Debbie. I am planning to try my best to try and feel better. I can't wallow in self-pity much longer anyway....not good for me at all!

I don't think you need to worry so much about the progesterone testing. Whenever I had mine tested it was fine to do so between CD19 - CD23. It also depended on when I actually OV and I just told the lady at the lab on what day I was and it was fine. They usually just need to get some idea of whether you did OV. Are you using meds this cycle or are you trying naturally and just want to know whether you did OV?

Joo~ste - try think positive that Thursday IUI will do the thing and you will have your
BFP soon.

I am still waiting for my second progestrone test of yesterday , I realised I made a mistake and went on CD19 instead of CD20 so we will see what Dr says.

I'm apparantly too late in my cycle for that and the heaps of fertility meds were suppose to do that anyway. At this stage in my cycle all the follies should be around 16 mm and ready for harvest.

Shame Jooste. did ur fs not suggest fsh injections to mature the follicles?

Thanks for trying to make me feel better...but I'm in such a bad place today. I'm full of drugs...and do not have much to show for it! Crying all the time!

The thing is...I don't have much believe in IUI. We had an IUI done in Nov last year...with 2 follies. I know for sure that it does not mean that this one won't work...I'm just so dissapointed at this stage that the IVF was cancelled after it took me forever to get used to the idea and feel okay with doing it.

I keep on asking myself the question...WHY!?

The mature follies were both just over 16mm and the immature follies were between 11mm and 12mm. FS said that I will only OV the 2 mature ones. The other 2 won't OV, as they are 2 small. I will take trigger shot tonight and IUI will be done Thursday morning.

But on the bright side- jy het darem 2 follies gemaak. Dis nogsteeds 'n wonderwerk op sy eie En wie weet, miskien werk die IUI. Ek het met ons eerste IUI net een perfekte follie gehad en twee so so follies en my seuntjie is nou 6 maande oud En my man se sperm is nou nie so fantasties soos jou man sinne Ek hou duim vas die IUI werk, en dan kan jy die geld vat wat jy op die IVF sou spandeer en 'n pragtige baba kamer maak

Hoe groot was jou twee follies?

Ek is so teleurgesteld en huil nou van 10 am vanoggend af. Ek het so swak reageer op die meds. Ek het net 2 mature follies en 2 immature follies en die meds is uitgewerk om my minstens 6 - 8 follies te gee. Ons kan dit glad nie verstaan nie. Ek het vroeer op 'n derde van die huidige dosis maklik 2 follies gehad...en hierdie keer so swak reaksie!

Die ivf is as 'n resultaat gekanseleer, want dit is sinneloos om 2 eierselle te kry om ivf mee te doen. Ons sal die beste van die siklus probeer maak en donderdag IUI doen. Ons sal dan maar weer ivf probeer die maand hierna. Ons harte is so baie seer hieroor...
