Hi ladies, can I join!
I stopped depo in june/july last year (can't remember exactly when LoL). I was due my next shot but just never went. We weren't really ttc yet then though, just trying to get my body back to normal working order. And then towards the end of last year we started on the ntnp approach - genuinely not trying, but also not preventing, just taking life as it comes.
This year we have now moved to ttc (although my method of ttc is very much like most people's ntnp methods LoL). First cycle was unsuccessful, but I think it ended with my first proper AF since stopping the depo, so at least that was positive (a 26 day cycle followed by a decent AF as opposed to the 10-14 day cycles and weird af's I was having the previous months). So hopefully the depo has worked it's way out of my system now and we stand a decent chance this month!
If it doesn't happen for us this month we might need to put things on hold for 2-3 months as the timing of the birth really would not be great if it happened then.
Hubby and I are going to a guesthouse tomorrow night, for a night away, a special "re-connection" weekend so to speak. Our toddler will be having his first ever sleepover at my parents' house. We just found we've started living past each other somewhat and so decided we need some one-on-one time to reconnect. Just coincidence that it landed up being exactly valentine's weekend, AND I think it's at my most fertile time! So finger's crossed it turns into a memorable weekend
