Anyone else trying for a 2014 baby?

Carmen - so sorry to hear of your loss xxxxxxxx Sending a big hug your way. You must have been so shocked about the natural BFP - that is at least a silver lining around an otherwise dark cloud.

All good on my side. Still on a TTC "break" though. Haven't made any decision as to what I want to do this year. Weightloss going good. 13KGs down so far, 12 more to go.

GW - good luck with the clomid. The costs add up, always difficult to estimate how much it will be!

AFM - I got an awesome surprise and then disappointment.
Got a NATURAL BFP last Thursday. No meds, no OPK's, bloods was 50- so definite pregnancy. Went for second bloods on Monday and it dropped. Af started today. So one comfort is that it was a early loss. Hadn't yet got used to the BFP.
Plan is still to do accupunture and IVF later this year.
Accupunture was supposed to start on Monday, cancelled because of the positive.

AFM:

I had my yearly Gynea check up today (thank goodness it's over! ).
I had a chat again with my doctor and he assured me that the Clomid will not cause another ectopic (although info on the internet seems to disagree). He basically said the Clomid might "Spark" my right ovary which is the "working side" into ovulating since it might be possible that only the left ovary (not working) is currently ovulating - which is pointless since their is no tube for the egg to travel to the uterus. So...
will discuss the Clomid again with my hubby and rethink it....
He also requested a SA for my hubby and a test to check if my working tube is not blocked. He will also be checking my FSH on day 3.

The scan today (currently CD13) revealed 2 small eggs, one on each side. He said that it doesn't seem as if I am going to ovulate soon/or at all this month/or maybe later in the cycle since they were only 0.80 mm (I think?) I was hoping to see that I am ovulating on the right side since I haven't seen that on a scan over the last 2 scans I had during ovulation...Interesting this month I haven't had any of my normal ovualtion signs, so it kind of matches the info the scan showed today.

Wondering how much all of this is going to cost me?? Since medical aid doesn't pay for these tests....mmmm....
