Hello ladies!
Glad to know that there are more of you ttc this year. Dh and I have decided to ttc this year. Our son is 4 already.
I have not been diagnosed with any abdomen issues but have had cysts issues as far as I can remember. Even having our son was a surprise.
Hope you get that big beautiful positive @Meags, at least if you get preggies now by the time you move you won't be too far like last time when you had to move.
Any ladies from durban or pmb?
Would love to try for a vbac this time around, so far my gynea said he wouldn't mind me trying for a vbac.
Thumbs up to all you ladies.

Meags, how about Soya Isoflavones? It's all natural and does exactly the same as Clomid does!

Hello girls

Phew it's been a long time since I posted!
I was on holiday in South Africa for almost 7 weeks over December/January. Got back to France last Saturday and we are moving to Western Africa in 4 weeks!
Well that's a bit of a story. DH is moving there in 4 weeks and I can only join in him 3 months time!!!!! (Part of the contract for probation period etc).

So I'm most likely going to go stay with my mom in Australia for that time. Which is lovely.....but doesn't help when you're trying to have a baby!

So I'm clearly not pregnant yet. Had no period since July last year. Got a friend to prescribe me clomid in SA after sending him all my blood results, scans etc. he diagnosed me with 2nd degree infertility and PCOS.
(There is however no stock of Clomid though....)

So in the meantime I bought the natural hormonal supplement FertilAid.
I started it on Saturday and guess what??? Today (Monday), I got my period!!!!!!!!
So dh and I have 4 weeks to try get pregnant otherwise we won't be able to try again until we're together from June.

So that's about all my news!

Hi Ladies

Flowergirl - glad to hear Emily is happy and adjusting well at school!!! LOL re "poopy pants"

Gloeiwurmpie - haha it's either drugs or the air that they breath making them insane but like you say we love it.

Sterretjie: Oh, the panty story is just soooo cute!! Got to write that down.

flowergirl: Glad to hear Emily is doing well! So true that sometimes they just need 'n couple of extra months to be school ready.

Oh, my, if she is making toilet humor jokes at 3....wait it gets worse! My LG is regularly making all sorts of toilet humor jokes - her soft toys do their toilet business in my face and in the entire house and vomit and ......man, it gets hectic at times!

Sometimes I think my child consumed a whole variety of drugs, because of the things they say and do....totally insane! But I love it!!

Sterretjie - so glad to hear that all is going well with your pregnancy.

I hear you on the 3 year old phase! Emily is now 3.5 and OMW - trying times. She started school this year and thankfully all is going well. She is loving it. We tried last year and it was an epic disaster. So proud to see how much she has grown in the past year though.

The other day she was screaming "poopy pants, poopy pants" I told her that it was not a nice word and that she shouldn't say it. A few days later she asks me very seriously: "Mommy, what is a poopy pants?", so I say: "I guess it is a pants with poop in it, so she says: "See, then its not a bad word, just a pants with poop in it" point taken.

hahaha, yes, in the heat of the moment I have no laughter in me but then when she sleeps at night I look at her and think of all things she comes up with!!

I am definatley going to start walking away more - you are so right - YOU CANNOT REASON WITH A 3 YEAR OLD. And thanks for giving me some good news - that it will get better :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

It is so true - YOU SEE THE WORLD THROUGH THE EYES OF YOUR CHILD!!!! So many times we as grown ups take things for granted and then these little ones bring us back to earth!!! Inge flushed her favourite Princess panty in the loo the other day. She was very upset when she realised the panty is not coming back. So about 20min after the whole episode she comes to be and tells me that she is going to put on her costume and her arms (swem vlerkies) and she is going to jump in the loo to look for a pantie. The seriousness on her face was just too precious. Then my SIL bought her "Sofia" panties (still in Cape Town - my mom will bring it up in Feb.). Last night she prays and she says "Seen my Mamma en my Pappa en my Ouma en my Malius (my brother Marius) and my Zelna (my SIL) and my Fia pantie". I couldn't help laughting.

They are such a joy!!!!
