Morning all

I did a hpt this morning BFN. I will still do the bloods on Friday as part of the FS's regiment, he can then tell me to stop the progesterone.
And then depending when AF starts, I was 5 days late last cycle, I will possibly not do IUI in Feb because I will be in JHB for 2 nights and back late on the 3rd, right at the time O is expected.

taking the Neg in my stride. It'd 11 days after IUI and the Hpt would have picked something up.

Morning Ladies

Hope you are all well?
Carmen, still holding thumbs for you!!!!
Nicolette - we took Staminogro in 2009 / 2010 but I cannot recall getting headaches from it. We use to take it at night time.
CJ - welcome - let's hope that the MC's are not inheritate!!!!
In the latest edition of "Baba en Kleuter" I saw an advert for Nuvida FertilityBlend apparently it is also subscribe by Fertility Specialists and Gyne's? www.nuvida.co.za
During the last 6 months when we TTC with Inge we were on Staminogro (as mentioned) and I was on Glucophage as I am Insulin resistant. We also tried the "Sperm meets Egg" Recipe and well, the proof was eventually in the pudding - today that pudding is 25 months old.
AFM - tomorrow is D-day as AF should be arriving - now, I don't know if it is only my imagination but my breasts feels huge and a bit sensitive - let's hope that it is a good sign and that AF stays away!!!!! Tick tock - maybe I must just buy a test to see but I am so scared that I will be disappointed.
Any way - ladies have an awesome day and LOTS OF BABY DUST!!!!!!!

Nicolette:
I have been taking Staminogro about 2 years now as a general multivitamin (betweeen 1 - 3 tablets daily). I have not had any problems, apart from insomnia if I drink it after 7 at night. However, maybe switch to another multivitamin.
I know you can get L-Arginine in the Solal range seperately and this is the main ingredient (as far as my knowledge stretches) that makes staminogro so successful. So, you could always try another multivitamin (I also swop to Solal "3 per day" at times, very good multivitamin and also recomended for pre-conception supplement).

I am also a bit confused about my score (11) being low. This was called a "serum progesterone test". What I have read on google is that anything from 15 is the low end of normal (Although risky still), but preferably that score should be between 20 and 30. To fall pregnant with a low score is certainly possible but your chances of keeping the pregnancy is very low without other progesterone treatments. This is what I have figured out....Don't know how acurate this is...

I am repeating this test again this month (in 16 days) to see if it is still low, if it is, I am not wasting any time and will then speak options with my doctor (also fertility specialist).

Shame, poor men too...They also have it tough with this TTC business!

Keeping fingers crossed for you!!

Ah Carmen I do so hope it happens! I actually do want to see an endicronologist and will do so when I find some time. I'm actually not sure how long they intend continuing the study. It won't affect getting the results though which take about 3 months to come through. At the moment they have a 200 person group. It's a new area of medicine called molecular medicine - basically being treated according to your genetic profile. Really interesting stuff. Nope TTC not affected.

Gloei that is the question. The doctors all know the side affects of any one drug but don't always know all the side affects when taking a specific combination. Yes it did affect my TTC the reason why I didn't TTC directly after my D&C. I took myself off the medication that may have been a factor in causing the birth defect. My lesson is always do your own research. I was told that I had nothing to worry about. I feel the least they could have done was point out the risks. But stupid me for not checking. Yes I sometimes loose consciousness and will most often "feel" it coming on during menstruation though it doesn't always culminate in a full blackout.

Hi CJ. Hope you can start TTC soon.

Has Staminogro given anyone else a headache? I have a constant headache, every day. And now wondering if it might be the Staminogro. Am also taking folic acid. I went to my GP last week - I'm too impatient to wait for my gynae appointment in Feb, and he did a blood test to check if I'm ovulating. I wasn't sure, but suspected it was day 21. My result came back as 16.7. I'm confused now, because Gloeiwurm - you indicated that this is a low score. However my GP was quite happy with this result. He said something like 17 being the low end of normal, but if it happened to be day 19 or 20, then anything above 5 is good? He also gave me a Pathcare form for my hubby to do a semen analysis. Tricky part is he's been away for 2 weeks. You have to do the semen collection after 4 days of abstinence, but not longer than 7 days. Hubby got home yesterday. Need to fit this all in, with me working most nights, and my hubby unwell after his travels. And I'm still waiting for AF to arrive. Maybe it won't!!! :P

I struggled to find inofolic at Dischem in 2010, hope they have it this time round.
Wow GW what a regiment if supplements. I tried staminogro, but didn't like it much.

The clomid didn't work for me, and really hope you won't need it.
