wannabepreggy - I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this. Use the time you're taking from TTC to get your body ready, to enjoy being a couple and to reconnect with yourself. That's what I've been doing the past month. We're focusing on being TTC-stress free so that my body will be ready when we do go back to TTC.
Well, that's my thoughts.
Hope you're ok - physically and emotionally.
Your time to be a mamma will come! Keep believing that!

My TTC is currently on hold due to my recently disvovered ovarian cysts. Was in hospital for 5days last week after unbearable pain had me at casualty on Monday morning. Gynae didnt want to operate yet as he is worried about scar tissue being worse than the cyst itself and it's right on my ovary. Going back to him in 8weeks. So no more Fertomid for me until I'm cyst free :( hopefully it goes away on its own. Just trying to manage the pain for now

Welcome Liefie.
It's been amazing for me posting in these forums and having the support of other ladies who feel the same way. Hope you get the same support.

Thanks for the feedback and input Annie78. I agree - don't wait too long and go and have everything checked out, especially if you're older. It's been 6 months since my miscarriage. we're taking a break from trying and then we'll go try for a few months again before seeing a doctor (if we need to).

Good luck to you both!

Helllo ladies

I know how you all feel... it's really tough waiting and the worst is when your Gynae tells you to be patient. :(
She kept telling me that, and after 6 months and checking everything is ok on my side, she told me to wait at least another year.

After 7 months of waiting, we decided to go on our own and have hubby checked out by a urologist, it was the best decision we made!!
The urologist found a problem on his side! If we had waited like my Gynae kept telling us too, we would have only discovered this problem a year down the line!

My advise, if you hit 6 months of trying and still nothing.... book an appointment for hubby at the urologist... if all is fine his side... then you can sit back and wait patiently
I was so upset with my Gynae as I kept saying to her that I was 35 years already and didn't want to wait too long in case there was a problem, but she told me to just be patient and let nature takes it's course!

Turns out hubby had a varicocele... had to go for an op, which was not successful and here we are a year later going for fertility treatment.

My advise, if you're in your thirties and still nothing after 6 months of trying.... just get hubby to a urologist for both your peace of mind.

Good luck ladies

Hi there

Just reading through all the previous post and I want to join - so good to know what I am feeling is not abnormal.

I'ts difficult to chat to people about this. I sometimes feel they try their best to sympathize, but don't really understand how you feel.

seeing my qynae next week, and hopefully finally I will know what the road ahead will be - the waiting makes me crazy! :headbang:

Hope you all have a Happy day! xxx

Heya Wannabepreggy and Sugar-and-spice I hope you guys are having a happy week.

Seems like we're all in the same boat.

My gynae also told me that everything is good and that hubby and I just need to relax. I haven't ovulated for 2 months in a row, but she reckons that's just my body getting used to not being on the pill.

So yep - patience all round.

Sterkte!

Married for 5 years :*
