Hi DieSwartKat,

Thank you for the encouragement and glimmer of hope. I sure hope thats all my body needed as well. I am on day 32 today and still waiting for AF to show up. Am not even looking for any pregnancy symptoms because the last cycle was 62 days and I was not ovulating. I just hope I ovulated at least and I will have something to work on.

Am not charting or temping just working on FS instructions.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you, hope you get that BFP soon.

Hi Cynthia,

Welcome to our "gang", hope you find some good support here and hope to be sharing your TTC journey with you.

I was on fertomid in 2011 when we tried for our first baby. I was devastated when I first found out that I wasn't ovulating, we had been trying for 7 months and I was so disappointed every month when AF arrived. Never thought I had a problem, was young and healthy etc etc etc.

The fertomid did nothing for me on the first cycle, I was on a dosage of 50mg. I didn't feel any different, and I was pretty cross when I got my period that month. Anyway, we tried again on the same dosage, and I fell pregnant after that round. Had a perfect pregnancy (despite being dog sick for 20 weeks), baby was born healthy and happy.

My point is, sometimes you fear the worst, but your body only needs a little kick start to do what it should.

We started the TTC process for Baby #2 in August, I'm back on my fertility meds as of last month. This time a cocktail of Fertomid, Femara and Estrofem. I'm hoping that it'll do the trick for me. Also, I've learned that most of us misjudge our ovulation day and have intercourse at the wrong time. My approach this month was to start doing the BD from CD 7, every 3rd day until CD19. I'm pretty sure I ovulated in the last 48 hours (CD14/15), so keeping my fingers crossed for good news soon.

Hi Morgan55,

Thank you and goodluck on your treatment. I believe that knowing the problem is half the solution. Many people try in the dark and never get to know if and what the problem is. I hope all goes well at the appointment and your ttc journey is shortened by the tratment.

Keep the hope alive. It might take long but it will happen.

Hi TCS4,

I think we put pressure on ourselves and cause a hormonal imbalance that in turn leads to anovulation. I really dont know how we are supposed to relax when we dont seem to be getting the one thing that we are praying/hoping for.

I was on Primolut N before going on Fertomid, am sure they work more or less the same way. PMS symptoms have been fullblown this past weekend so am sure AF will show her ugly head today or tomorrow.

We must just keep the hope alive.

Hi Cynthia...

Im on my provera cycle and will start Fertomid on CD3 which should be early next week...
I also do not ovulate and have PCOS.

I was pregnant previously and it ended badly at 5 months. and the second pregnancy was a blyted ovum.
all in the space of a year. i do not have any kids and up until recently i ovulated just fine.
I think the anxiety and stress is causing this ...

Anyway i hope all goes well for you in your 2WW...

Hi Betti,

Thank you for your response.

My husband hasnt had his sperm checked yet and my fertility specialist says as soon as he gets me to ovulate we will look at hubby s sperm and check that all is well. I had my progesterone test on the 15th to check if I ovulated on this dosage, my next appointment is on 26 November.

Will keep you updated on the side effects for when you get on it as well. Keep the faith we will get our miracles sooner than we think.
