Fairychild, sorry to hear about AF. And I agree with the boring CD6 story. Experiencing the same kind of boredom being in the middle of nowhere (CD30 something for me and no OV yet) until my 6 week post-op check up mid-March.

Lillyr, stay strong in the ttw. I'm sure you've heard that symptom spotting can drive you crazy - if I go on symptoms alone I would have been preggies many times already.

Wrt CM and CP, I've been doing that too since I started BBT. CP tends to be no so accurate. I've had a number of times where it changes within an hour (e.g. before and after taking a shower). However, theorectically you are a looking for high and soft as a sign of being in your fertile days. I'd describe high as being just reachable when you insert your middle finger all the way. Which means that low is when its very easy to reach. As for soft vs firm, its easiest to describe firm as feeling like a little ball. Soft being so soft that its almost hard to distinguish from other tissue. As for open vs closed, never had much luck there in trying to distinguish one from the other.

CM is a bit more accurate. Start of your cycle its sticky or creamy in consistency. In the days before OV it will change to watery and close to OV it will be a lot like raw egg-white (aparently not everyone sees this - I've only seen it a few times). Shortly after OV it will go back to being creamy or sticky. Googling some images can show you exactly what I mean. There are plenty out there.

amagoqoz, welcome here! I can relate to your story. Also have boy of almost 3 thats in need of a playmate and have been on Clomiphene for quite a while. Have you and hubby been to a fertility specialist? I would really recommend it (and have both of you tested). I'd recommend mine anyday above only going to a normal gynae. And its not more expensive. Mine is in Cape Town Northern Subs (website: www.fertilitydoctor.co.za) - not sure where you are located, but there are some extra info on the site that might be of use to anyone.

AFM, I'm officially back at work since yesterday. Had a busy week personally, so not much time to comment here. Not too bad to be back at work, however its still a bit uncomfortable to sit so long. Sick leave is all used up, hence why I decided to go back. Feeling a lot better since Sunday, so I'm sure its quite ok to go back earlier than the dates on my sick note.

Apologies if I missed anyone, but you guys chat up such a storm in even 1 day that I will forget some of it. To those in the 2ww, or almost, stay strong!

Hi everyone, I have also been very quite lately, sorry! Well I'm on CD26 today, 11dpo and I'm planning to test tomorrow morning. AF isnt due until Sunday but what the heck, take a leap of faith. And I just have a good feeling about this month. DH has been taking Stamingro and I tried Vitex this cycle. I must say Vitex has really made a huge difference!

Hi P4M1, I also ov round about CD15 but it was once on CD18 so mine is always different. I have some different cramping on my bikini line but not so much on the left ovary today, but not much CM if any. I had a temp drop this morning and I think I will ov tomorrow or the day after and oh yes I have sensitive boobies I used the OPK yesterday afternoon and it had a faint line but not a positive so I will test today again. How are your symptoms are you still cramping and do you have any cravings?

@ Lillyr, when it comes to checking your cervix I have no clue how it should be and don't even think that I can find it I am thinking of you and really hope that you will be getting your BFP soon!!

LOL @ open book of knowledge. I dont want to keep my hopes up hey. But one minute i feel so convinced i am preggy, the next i am back to normal, no symptom..LOL. One other thing i picked up, is blurry vision- but lets just say its because i havent been sleeping enough.

Tell me more about CM. how is it supposed to be like after BO?

Increased thirst is a very good sign!!! especially since you say you are staying hydrated
This is going to sound totally stupid but I know nothing about the CP (Cervix Position)
Give me CM and symptoms, BBT and all things BD and i'm like a open book of knowledge

morning ladies

P4M1- eish now i dont know anymore. Its all quiet today, nothing at all. Evrtyhing else i am feeling kinda has a possible cause eg sleepy, i slept very late(5 hrs), gassy- i had beans and gum hehehe. Well i am super thirsty these days, and I think i drink enough water so i am not sure. I am beginning to think my mind is playing tricks. So unlike this whole week were i was queen of google, today i am going to ignore google and get some work done(i hv literally spent the past 3 days on google **cant watch**). I will just let the days go by and wait for AF, hopefully not.

ladies, please do share more about Cervix position. I know we are all different but how deep in can i expect to find it. How do i know if its closed or not?

My temp is 36 C this morning not the normal 35.8 - 35.9 (Definitely O coming)
If shes not here today then definitely tomorrow. When I conceived the first time O only came on CD15

Oh the lovely CD6 the most boring CD of them all, I usually read up on some helpful tips and tricks and start prepping for the other CD'S
