So if my hubby is fine will I have to go for an internal sonar to measure my eggs or see if my tubes are blocked and then from there probably get prescribed Clomid? Does the medical aid normally pay for these tests, sorry about all the questions

I can imagine those butterflies flying around, all will be fine and such a exciting time too. Thinking of you and don't be nervous

I trust that all will be well with hubby too. Then, if it is irregular cycles or that the eggs aren't big enough then you'll probably be prescribed fertomid / clomid which you'll take for 5 days, then maybe have to go for trigger shot which makes you ovulate and voila!! BFP!!

Hi Morgan

Hubby is going in for tests at the end of the week and will probably get the results early next week. If all is okay with him then I am worried that something else is majorly wrong. The doc said that it could be that I ovulate irregular and it might also be that I am just missing my peak. Not so sure if that is the issue but will wait and see his results and will take it from there.

That's awesome news!! So glad for you! It's a good thing that hubby is also going for tests.

I'm just speaking out of my experience here but my gynae saw that my eggs weren't big enough when I went for a internal sonar and she measured the eggs.

Don't know if there is another way to measure them.

Well I got my results back and they doctor said that she tested the FSH, Estradiol, LH and a few other tests (she spoke so fast that I couldn't remember all) but all of the test came back with positive results and all is fine with me. Now hubby must get tested. Question, if she says all my hormones are perfect does that mean that I ovulate but does that also mean that my eggs mature properly?

I am in my 2 week of 2ww.... and believe me I have never symptom spotted like this month. FS said to go for a blood test the 7th but I purchased a PT... might use it tomorrow, will try my best not to though. Not feeling any different except for extremely tender boobies...

any other 2ww'ers?

I know EXACTLY how you feel!! I felt like that last year when I was finishing my degree. I also thought that if I should conceive and my due date clashes with my exams.... I guess I was lucky (unlucky?) that I didn't conceive because I finished so now I can concentrate 100% on ttc!!

So, yes. I understand completely the paths in front of you. It's such a difficult decision as you said.

Hope you have the clearness of mind to make the right decision for you and that the choice you make is the best one for you.
