@Blou - Do you mind telling me the names of the supplements you got? I have a prenatal vitamin that I take and can start using my vitamin C powder but dont have anything for the iron, calcium and magnesium. Im terrified of going past the 6 month mark as I promised my family I would see the doc after 6 months to just get a second opinion on my cyst which still bugs me regularly.

Hi ladies,

Just checking in, hope you are all doing well, may there be many BFP's coming soon!! :heart: :heart: :heart:

@Chanti, I have also read that spotting before AF could be a bad thing, but I have always spotted a couple of days before AF, and I got pregnant quite quickly so not sure if it is always a bad thing, but you never know, the vitamins might help, I suppose every woman is different.

I suppose I did start eating healthier and I did start taking some vitamins so you never know, maybe the month I got pregnant the vitamins helped :P

I was taking iron that contains vitamin c, folic acid, and I had also just started taking calcium and magnesium supplements when I got my BFP.

Hey Ladies!

@Inca - That meal plan sounds delicious! How is AF treating you? Hope she leaves soon

@Nikita - Im really not sure what the cloudy CM and blood could be, I hope its nothing serious! Have you increased your water in take at all to help with head aches?

AFM, CD28, Spotting started nicely this morning and I expect full AF tomorrow. Ladies I always thought spotting before a period was normal but i read an article last night that said it isn't.. especially two days! It could be a sign of luteul phase defect and my body not producing enough progesterone.. Im excited to see when I ovulate this month and if it is early or very late and not allowing enough time for eggy to fully settle. Im going to try up my vitamin c, iron and magnesium a little bit to see if that stops the spotting before AF. Atleast this cycle its only one day before AF and not two!

Hi Ladies,

Hope everyone is well :heart:

@Ninies, so happy that your scan went well :heart:
@Chanti, when is AF due?
@Inca, what CD are you?

I am currently on CD10, tmi :tmi: had some clear cloudy cm with some blood last night so not sure if it is because of the Lapscope or just some AF clearing out???? Never had this before. I have more "feeling" in my body if that makes sense.. I think I could feel ovulation pains (not sure) I still have a damn :swear: headache (5 days now) not sure if it is because of O or if it is my hormones. Used an OPK yesterday and Today, both negative, so I assume I will ovulate tomorrow. Had a dip in my BBT (36.3) so will keep an eye out on that. I don't really want to take any pain killers for my headache but will have to do something :blink:

@Inca - Your meals sounds very much the same as ours. We started beginnng of August and I must say I dont even have a craving for carbs....where before I would crave bread, biscuits and all nice things....
Hubby also likes this way of eating. We also have eggs in coconut oil daily with either bacon or mince or salami or whatever I could get hold of and avo.
I then also have double cream much later in the day if I get hungry. But now it feels like we have reached a platuea where we are the same weight every day. :huh:
But we will keep on trying as we both love this way of eating and feel so much better.
I still need to make some of the nice sweet recipes, but the coconut flour and almond meal is so damn expensive. But i will get some and try them out.
We still have to go to a banting market - they are becomming very popular now.

@ninies: So glad all went well with the doc today. I'm sure you must be super excited for your next appointment :) We'll be counting down with you ;)
Oh yay! A fellow banter :) My breakfast: 2 eggs fried in coconut oil, 3 pieces of streaky bacon, half an avo and cup of five roses with cream and xylitol. Lunch time I have another cup of tea with cream and xylitol. Don't usually snack in the day but if I do get hungry I have some biltong or cheddar cheese or 100ml double cream yogurt - this usually happens late afternoons. Dinner is some form of meat about palm size and about 1 cup of veg (either zucchini, mushrooms, onions, green beans, gem squash, salad). If I grill my meat then I add butter or olive oil to my veg and I usually grate some cheddar cheese over my veg for some favour. I have another cupof tea with cream and xylitol before bed. I drink about 2 liters of water a day. That's pretty much it. I did however have a terrible chocolate craving on Saturday (first sign AF is on her way), had to restrain myself from grabbing the Lindt in the cupboard. Went to the Banting market at Melrose Arch on Sunday and bought some sweet healthy goodies. Needless to say, I had a slice of Banting cheese cake on Sunday, small tub of cheese cake on Monday and a small piece of Banting fudge tonight. Since last week Tuesday have lost 3.8kg. I know most of it is water but I'm alright with that. My belt has gone down 2 holes and I don't feel bloated. Haven't had any sugar or bad carbs at all.
When did you start with Banting ninies?

Me: 28
Taking Pregnavit x1 & Be-Tab 5mg Folic acid x1 in the morning
