Trying for a 2016 baby

I go every cycle for a ovulation test to see if I am indeed ovulating and if it is a good ovulation. Its is called a Progesterone test and is normally done between CD21 and CD23 (+-7 days after ovulation).

I have mine done on CD23 and go to Pathcare and ask for a Progesterone test. It costs about R120 and takes a day for one to get the results back.

@Chanti: AF finished yesterday which is great. Excited to start trying again this month. Think I'm ovulating next week Wednesday so still awhile but will be using my opk's from this Saturday (CD11). Also seeing the gynae next Wednesday just to make sure all is in order. How is AF treating you?

@JB: Shame, I know. Hubby and I are also so exhausted after that fertile window from trying Gotta do what you gotta do I guess!

For interest sake, when should you go for an ovulation test, to see whether you have ovulated? Does anyone know? And where can this be done?

@ Nikita, thats great that your headaches are gone, I also really enjoy tea.

AFM, we have been bd'ing every second day since CD8 and boy oh boy are we tired I normally o around CD14/CD15 but I only got my temp rise on Sunday which was CD18 just waiting for FF to confirm.

Hopefully the test on Friday shows that I have ovulated. I have no hopes really that I ovulated as no cramps, no sore bb's no nothing

@Chanti, no more headaches lol don't know if it had something to do due to O or due to the fact that I stopped drinking coffee.... I had my dose of coffee this weekend and no more headaches!!!!! I normally have a cup or 2 of coffee a day with loads of 5 roses tea or earl greay, I will limit the tea...

Glad that your cycles are back to normal. Holding thumbs for your BFP this month.

How is everyone else??

I am currenlty on CD13, can't really trust my bbt, I hope we covered all nasis with BD. Not really in the mood to use any meds lol. But let's see what happens, I know that I will need the meds if I don't get a BFP this month. 14 more days to go.....

AFM, CD 2, AF arrived in full force on Saturday, have a very heavy flow, its kind of what my periods used to be like so Im hoping my body is coming right and can give it my best shot for a BFP this month. Im going to start using my OPK's on Saturday as I have a sneaky feeling i keeping missing the Big O so will see how that goes. This has to be a good cycle ladies! Praying hard and placing my trust in God.

@Nikita - OO I didnt know that! Hope its just that and not your blood pressure xx This will be our 6th cycle now and it does bug me a little.. Im always getting pains on the left so i assume it is still the cyst

@Chanti, Drinking my 1.5l of water per day, I was reading a bit regarding ovulation and they say it might cause migraines and a few other interesting things.... So I think it could maybe be that, but if I still have it by Sunday I will go to the Clicks or so forth so that they can just check my blood pressure.
How long have you been TTC now? And is your cyst bugging you?
