@Jay - Ouch that is going to hurt the pocket quite a bit! Do you have a consult date yet? I hope the conceive plus works for you Cant wait to use mine that's for sure.. Thats quite annoying that your gynae didn't write your Fertomid dosage down correctly as it now seems like you had a higher dose for longer with still no results.

I am sooooo tired today and struggling with heartburn, think the early mornings of cycling and too much pizza are catching up with me. I am turning to healthy eating from today, trying to cut out sugar and up my omega 3's, a lady advised that you need to cut sugar and up omega 3's in order to increase your chances of conceiving.

@ Liza, thats wonderful news that you ovulated! I have read that most of the times when you are pregnant you have no signs or symptoms compared to when you are not. Holding thumbs for your BFP... ooh so exciting!
I know the feeling of wanting to test but scared of hoping for a BFP and then getting the ugly BFN

@ Chanti, this is my first un medicated cycle and about to ovulate today or tomorrow, hoping my cycle remains 26 days as when I was on the Fertomid.

@ Ninies, I got the Conceive Plus applicators as there was nothing else on my last one I read somewhere that it will be too slippery and un natural but I found it really nice and pleasantly surprised. Would love to get some more but this Cape Town is hopeless! I am so happy for you and it really gives me hope that I will get my BFP soon. Did you temp and if so how high was your temp?

AFM, CD13 and I am gearing up to ovulate within the next day or so. Well I got a call from the FS office and hubby and I have to go for pre consultation tests. Rubella, HIV, Heb B and hubs has to go for another SA as the doctor makes use of his own lab and not Pathcare. Lovely... besides his R1300 consultation fee we have to cough up another R2100 for our tests. Just to vent a bit more my Gynae wrote a referral letter and it stated that I was on three rounds of Fertomid 100mg and not 4x rounds of 50mg and 1x round of 100mg after I insisted to up the dose. Ai he is an excellent gynae and obstetrician but I think he is more concerned with pregnant women than the ttc part. feel a better now

@Liza - my first cycle after fertomid my cycles went back to 28 days. On Fertomid it used to be slightly longer at anything from 29-31 days.
I also had no pg symptoms and were just patiently waiting for AF when I decided to test to know if I can take medicine or not.
Like you I had the AF type of cramping around the time AF was due and still remembered when DH asked what was wrong I was saying AF is on the way - the cramps were there, but then they disappeared.
So you never know. But take your time in testing - because the disappointment is not nice.

@Liza - I hear you, the fear of the test being a BFN and AF still not arriving. What happened with @Jay and @Ninies the first month they were off Fertomid? Were their cycles longer?

@ chanti no idea! This was a cycle were i did absolutely nothing. No tempting and tracking anything.

All i know is when i was suppose to start with AF. I've had small cramps Saturday and Sunday as if AF is going to arrive but nothing. The cramps are gone now and i dont have the feeling anymore that AF is due.

I'm very nosy to see what a test will say but the disapointment will just be to much. Thats the only thing keeping me from testing.

@Liza - So pleased the results came back good! Regardless of what this cycle brings then atleast you can celebrate an ovulation without meds Do you have any idea how many DPO you are?

Not much new on my side CD32 for me no signs of AF. My test results came and i did infact ovulate without the fertomid. Very good news!

Just waiting this week out. Not getting excited as i have no PG symptoms
