@ Ninies, yes and OPK+ just to make me more confused. I can't get an appointment to scan the follies before ovulation as the Gynae is so fully booked, so can only go for the Progesterone test

@ Hails, I can't believe the Urologist you saw has such terrible bedside manners! I hear Sperm-Aid and Sperm-I-Prove is very good. Good luck with the appointment!

@Ninies yes he is a Urologist at Wilgeheuwel that I have heard good things about. This weekend I went and purchased the Sperm Aid in any case so that DH could start taking it. I figure we should do as much as we can in the interim.

@Jaybee - Yes you even had a positive OPK this cycle...remember. I think best would be to scan your follies mid cycle and then to test Progesterone again - maybe on CD21 and CD23. Good luck with the increased dose of fertomid.
I would also be so upset with my gynae if I was in your shoes. But atleast you are going in the right direction by seeing a FS soon.

@ Ninies, that is good news that you had a perfect cycle and i am really hoping that it is not AF cramps that you are feeling
I temp and chart and I have a temp dip and spike after ovulation and even have EWCM. All points to ovulation and yet the Progesterone tests show that I didnt ovulate. The only thing I can think of is that I should do the test a few days earlier or maybe my eggs are of poor quality.

@ Nikita, the test lab does not give the results over the phone as they want your doctor to call you and then he/she can explain the results to you. What you can do it go back to the lab and ask for a print out as I have done that before.

AFM, still super upset with my Gynae for wasting 4x months on Fertomid 50mg, when I was not ovulating but I start the 100mg tomorrow for one month only and then seeing a FS, Dr slabbert in Sept.

@Hails - Good luck with the appointment for tomorrow. I am glad that you are seeing another doctor. Is he also a urologist?

@ayesha - So sorry for the sad time you have been through. I can only imagine how sad the time approaching your due date is. You will get another BFP soon and atleast there are measures you can put in place to ensure a full term pregnancy.

@Mrs Smith - seems like we are very much in the same boat. I so badly want a sibbling for my son that is turning 4 this year already. I am so impatient and it is not helping me at all. Yes the age gap keeps on getting bigger but we must keep on trying. I was thinking this morning that if my son does not have any sibblings and we stop trying, then that means his children someday wont have any aunties or uncles. That is just sad. So for now, we are still in the game - sperm or no sperm. Anything can happen.
I also thought of adoption, but the gene pool is so big and I am not so sure if I want to take that on. And I badly want to experience the whole pregnancy, breast feeding etc again.

AFM - AF is on her way. CD29 today. I have a perfect cycle without the Fertomid. Ovulated on CD14-15 and 14 days lutheal phase. That is if AF arrives today or tomorrow. I have all the cramps so yes she is on her way. Could not help it to be hopeful this cycle.
I decided to stop temping as I observed that I ovulated without Fertomid, but I will stay in the game .

Morning Ladies,

So, today I am phoning for DH's blood test results from Ampath.

I have the appointment with Dr Bell on Tuesday (tomorrow). So my question, based on ladies that have been with their DH's to see Dr Bell:

Does he do Biopsy procedures himself
Is he well known for assisting with Infertility
Is he sensitive to Infertility on a whole

I cant go through another bad appointment like with Dr Miceli, that was a waste of time, money and took its toll on us as a couple emotionally.

Hi ladies, thank u for the warm welcome @mrssmith i have a week cervix my cervix opened at the22 weeks mark and when i went into labour it took me just over 6 hours 2 fully dilate, in limbo45 minutes i was 5 centimeters dilated they could not stop it! Apparently with my next pregnancy i will require a cervical suture and due to weak utheran lining bed rest, i decided to take a break till next year to start trying again, took me 3 years to fall pregnant and i fell in love in those s5 months having him growing in me. I still find myself talking to my tummy and have to remind myself it's empty! Specially with my due date creeping up,
