@CarienM - Have you been taking anything like fertomid maybe for the first month or so? Since I started taking Fertomid, I experience spotting 2 days before AF is due and then it goes away for 2 days and then she comes. Maybe this is not the case with you, but that is my experience.
Ha ha ha your husband is funny..... I agree with you. Everyone always blames the female for infertility but I also think alot of the time the problem is with the males. Sperms can get lazy they say...

@Mrs Smith - I have also made that discovery last month and tried to work out why I am not pg if we bd on the "most" important days. I honestly do think that two days prior to OV is maybe the way to go. I also read somewhere that morning bd is better than evening. I am sure the OPK's will confirm your OV day this cycle.

@Nikita - So sorry about the BFN but it could be early. I am holding thumbs that AF does not show and that you get your BFP this weekend.

@TheMrs - Where in Dischem did you find FertileCM? Is it on the shelves or must I ask at the counter where you get prescription medicines?

AFM - today is CD7. Finished my fertomid last night. I dont have much to report, this is such a boring time of the cycle but also such an important part as your eggies are busy maturing. I am full of flue however, so hoping I can feel better soon.

I find myself highly confused today... I have all the signs that AF would have shown up last night including a headache, cramps, spotting, major temp drop but to now (almost 11) no AF, and it seems like my spotting has stopped too...so really just confused...

And then a question, i see some ladies speaking about chasteberry, what exactly is that and what does it do and where do you get it?

@Nikita, really hoping you just tested too early and will get that happy sign soon Temps being up and staying up is a really good sign!

On a different note, I have told my husband that I am completely changing my mindset about this whole thing. You know like in the middle ages (and pretty much to now) it was always the woman's fault that she was not pregnant, well I have decided I am totally turning it around and saying its the man's fault (just for the joke of it really to keep things a little bit light-heated). He thinks that's a challenge and says (TMI) - '...well its definitely not a hardware malfunction...'

Oh great, I took it as recommended on the box - 2 tabs 3 times a day. And my Gynae also said its a good product to use. GL hun!

| made an interesting, and partly unnerving discovery this morning.

I'm assuming that I ov on CD 13 because I have 27 day cycles (only counting the last 2 cycles whilst on vitex). So in my mind that would mean the most important day for bd would be CD 12.

However, this morning I looked back at the last 2 cycles and we bd'd on:
cycle 1: CD 7, 12 and 13
cycle 2: CD 8 and 12.

So both cycles we bd'd on CD 12. So if my calculations are correct I should have been pg.

This cycle we've done CD 5 & 7 so far, and will be doing 9 and 11 as well. Today is CD 9. We usually bd in the mornings, as soon as we wake up (too tired etc at night). But I also want to see if switching to nights maybe makes a difference, so for today and sunday i'm hoping to do nights, so we didn't bd this morning, will rather be seeking action tonight (sorry if TMI), and then sunday, and will be starting with opks tomorrow.

I really wonder if the day before ov is maybe too late already? Since the last two cycles were the day before. No idea. Interested to see what happens this cycle. Of course this cycle could be different because it's my third month of vitex. Could also be different because of the green tea. But yes, we're shifting around the days of BD and i'll be using the opks just to double check / make sure we time it right. I was very interested to read on the CB website that the day you get your smiley face, and the day after are your two most fertile days. And you can get your smiley face anywhere from 24-36 hours before ov. But that is mostly the day before ov? So I don't know. Unless I only ov on CD 14, and not 13 afterall? Really curious to see what the opks show.

ETA: sorry for the jumble of the last paragraph - was typing as my mind was calculating and realising and working things out LoL.

@Nikita - I know how you feel, the minute you let yourself get excited, AF hits! I would say the best one to use would be clearblue digital, although it is rather pricey, I think R60 or something like that.

AFM - CD 9 today. I managed to restrain myself from bringing an OPK to work today so hopefully i'll be able to hold off until tomorrow to start testing. I might of course cave and do one tonight, just in case LoL.

@Chanti - temp is at 36.8 this morning. I really don't want to get my hopes up. What pregnancy test is the best to use?

@Nix / Chanti - The clicks opk's is really not nice to use. The line never goes darker it only shows a feint line. I will rather use something else, and the clicks brand is expensive so I would rather put more money towards a better opk
