Hi, ladies
Apologies for being so quiet on the forum. I am exhausted, so exhausted that I am starting to forget things. Two days ago I started noticing that I would ask hubby the same question in a matter of a few minutes, completing forgetting that I asked the question and what his response was. The other night he comes in from work and tells me about his day, I even responded. Later, when I walked to the kitchen, I saw a bottle of carrot salad and asked him where it is from - It was the first time I've seen it! THen he laughed and said: "My vrou, daar is iets fout met jou!" He apparently told me all about him helping a old lady with her computer and how she rewarded him with this bottle of carrot salad. Apparently I even responded to that! Can't believe it! To make it worse, yesterday morning hubby was struggling to print a few documents for me before work. Eventually I said he should leave it and email me so that I can print it at work. Before I left, however, the printer finally kicked it. He handed me the documents in my hand; I even put it in my red envelope in my bag. Left for work; after a half an hour, I whatsapp him to ask him when is he going to mail me the docs, completely forgetting that I have hard copies in my bag!
This is driving me insane! I must be extremely exhausted, mentally and physically, for me to forget stuff like this! My head is like a computer - I know holiday dates for next year already. And now that I forget everything, it is frustrating me. It makes me anxious and irritable and frustrated with myself. So annoyed with myself!!
Anyhow, I am CD 6, preparing for ovulation week next week. I have all my OPK's ready, and have planned how we are going to approach this whole thing, seeing that I'm so tired. Poor hubby - He wants attention in the bedroom, but I just can't muster up enough energy. Everything seems to tiring!
@Nikita - Those temps look really consistent. Could be that the temp drop means ovulation is coming?? Let us know what your temps are like in the morning. Good luck!
@Sugar - I bought a digital thermometer from Clicks when I used to temp. The digital one shows two digits after the decimal, so it is quite accurate. You could try it! Use it first thing in the morning - Keep it close to your bed, so you won't have to move or get up to get it. Also try to take your temps at the same time everyday. It was hard for me, because I tend to wake up at 6 in the week, and then at 8 over weekends, so mine was a bit over the place. Good luck!
@Chanti - So excited that your appointment is booked! Holding thumbs for you guys!
@Em - Good luck with BD week! Holding thumbs! Keep us updated.
@Jooste, how are you, my dear? Any updates?
