Trying for a 2016 baby

So I have been a silent observer for a while and haven't posted since I introduced myself a while back...

Hubby and I were going to wait till August 2015 before TTC but we decided, what the heck - what are we waiting for?

So we have decided we will start trying this month. I was on Yasmine for 10 years. Stopped taking it 2 months ago. My cycles appear to be more regular now with 27 day cycles.

I'm on CD6 now, not too sure when I will be ovulating so, we're just going to have fun and hope it happens soon

Have some sore BB's, mild dull cramps, a bit of nausea and skin break out, creamy cm (sorry tmi)
Im not getting any hopes up as these symptoms can all be due to af coming. But I am staying positive
If AF doesn't come tomorrow I will test

@JB01 - according to FF I am 3DPO, which is what I thought as well. Based on the information I entered into the app, it has me set at a low chance of conception this month

If he did see that one minute follicle and you were convinced you did ov then that all makes sense and ties up together nicely. You probably did ovulate, but the follicle was so small it wouldn't have counted towards making a baby becuase it wasn't big enough or of good enough quality.

@ Mrs Smith, I agree with you about the u/s. Just before I started the Fertomid I had a scan on CD13 which showed only one minute follicle which he said didn't count at all.

I wanted to go for a u/s this cycle but he suggested that I wait till the following cycle as then I will be put on 100mg.

Thank you for the advice and for the reassurance to listen to him about the test on CD23, I am just getting so tired of waiting.

@ cariem, if you ovulated on CD15 how many DPO are you on?

I'm not sure Jay-Bee. I've never had a progesterone test, I just know they are usually referred to as CD 21 tests. But if he is overseeing your fertomid and stuff it is probably best to follow his instructions. It will be interesting to see what this cycle does.
What you could do next month if this one again comes back as not ovulating is ask him to do an u/s around CD13 (I think that's the one) to see if there are any eggs in your ovaries. (follicles?) They can see the number and size which is a good indicator as to whether or not you will ovulate. It's of course more money though.

@ Mrs Smith, I also thought about that as well but with Fertomid they predict one will ovulate 5-10 days from the last pill taken, which will make it around CD13-CD18 for me. My cycles used to be 30-34 days long but with Fertomid it should be +- 28 days long.

My previous cycle FF said I ovulated on CD16 and I had a Progesterone test done on CD23 and it came back that I didn't ovulate. But that cycle was only 25 days so I thought that the test was done too late as it was 2 days before af arrived.

I asked the Gyna should I have the test done on CD21 and he said no I should keep to CD23 and the reason my cycle was so short was because I didn't ovulate.

Would you go for a Progesterone test on CD21 anyway or would you stick to his instruction and go on CD23 and wait to see if your cycle becomes 28 days?

I am so confused...
