Carien - the positive opk means you will ovulate within 12-36 hours, so you seldom ovulate the same day that you have the positive opk, normally a day or 2 afterwards. Your signs all sound fantastic, and the fact that there's still ewm the day after the positive opk is perfect. My guess is you would ov either sunday or today. If the cm suddenly clears up today, then you ov'd yesterday, if it suddenly clears up tomorrow, then you ov'd today. Etc. It all sounds totally perfect and very positive indeed.
Ninies - your temp should stay higher for the rest of this cycle, and only dip just before af arrives. The first half of the cycle (follicular phase) your temp is somewhat lower. Then at ov time it rises, and in the luteal phase (second part of cycle) it remains higher than it was before ov. That's how you pinpoint ov. then it sometimes dips again I think the day (or 2) before af arrives.
On the CM front - I often tend to get an increase in cm (usually whitish) in the days leading up to AF, so that might also be totally normal
AF - I had the weirdest thing happen last night. We were bd'ing and just as dh ended I got the biggest most painful spasm starting down there. He removed himself and my spasm just got worse and worse. I was in serious pain! (this was definitely not a pleasant / climax type spasm). It spread through my entire abdomen. I have no idea what it was. First thought was that I'm pregnant and didn't realise and the sex caused mega contractions, but it was way worse than any contractions I've ever experienced. I just kept trying to focus myself and breathe through them. It spread up to just under my right ribcage and also into my right shoulder. I suspect it's most likely intestinal rather than uterine, but not really sure. I do tend to find intestinal cramps ten thousand times more painful than labour pains. I had severe intestinal cramps after my son was born caused by constipation (my intestines turned out to be totally full, despite the fact that my stomach was working normally daily). I remember being doubled over in pain, convinced something serious was wrong, only to go to the gynae, have him scan and essentially tell me I was full of sh*t (literally). So ya, it was most likely that again. But dang it was sore!
Thankfully it's gone today but my lower abdoment / uterus area feels somewhat bruised and tender still. I did my one and only hpt this morning just in case and it was a bfn. I think I'm 10dpo today but not really sure. So ya, that's my only *symptom* so far.
