Trying for a 2016 baby

I am not sure what is going on with you specifically, but I can explain that clomid can change the length of your cycle by delaying your ovulation and thus the time in which your pregnancy test will be positive can be delayed by 4-7 days or your period as well. For me, I took clomid and on day 28 and day 32 my pregnancy tests were negative and now on day 42 it was positive. (i didn't check in between I just assumed there was something wrong with me.) I was advised that with some women clomid can throw off your cycle and you can need to take some progestin to get things flowing again, but the best thing to do is ask your doctor or a member of his/her office staff.

I used to have a 28 day cycle. Then when I started Clomid, my cycle changed to 35 days. The doctor never mentioned it would change. So it took me several months of thinking excitedly "Am I Pregnant?" and being disappointed when I would get my period a week later. It took me several months of this before I finally looked on the internet and found that this commonly happens with Clomid. Also, very important, your ovulation date can change by a couple of days - later. Possibly around the 16th. So check with an ovulation kit. Hope this helps.

So I wanted to post an update since i dont see a lot... I am and always have been a 28 day cycle girl. I got pregnant with my 3 yr old son while on 50 mg of chlomid and did not get a positive test until day 32. I am now ready to start for baby #2, and was on 50mg of chlomid for the first cycle, which did nothing, but did give me a 29 day cycle, which is very unusual for me. This past month, I was on my first round of 100mg of chlomid day 3-7 and it changed my cycle to 33 DAYS!!! As I said, I am ALWAYS a 28 day cycle whether ovulating or not now for 15 years, and the only time it was longer was when I was pregnant...so...CHLOMID CAN DELAY YOUR PERIOD!!!

So I will then wait patiently and see how long this cycle goes. I have always been on a 28 day Cycle.

BD, LMAO... Indeed yucky! I will have mine in the evenings after a hot bath and before I get into bed... Today im pumping my body full of water, also yucky! But hey, the things we need to do to help us fall preggies

@ninies - I agree with MTC - red flow would be CD1. I'm not sure if Fertomid prolongs the cycles. Have you searched on Google yet?

@MTC - First cup in hun! Yuk! LOL! LMAO, yeah very blonde moment for me. I think I had way too much on my mind yesterday.

@Anzel - dont drink too much Green Tea as it could cause diarrhea. I think 1 or 2 cups should be sufficient.

@Mrs Smith - Yip, I hear about it a few times but I think I'm gonna add a cup or 2 on a daily basis. And you know what overall its great for your health. Holding thumbs you get your bfp!

Ninies, nope, then today is not CD1 as it's not full on red flow.. Maybe she will make her appearance with the pinkish spotting... Not sure if the Fertomid does prolong AF.. Maybe find that out on Google..

Ladies, I need help please.

I know this could be TMI, sorry beforehand.

Before going to bed last night at 9h30, I had pinkish CM and realised ok AF is on the way.
This morning again but not much.
I updated and assumed that AF started today, so today is CD1 for me, but now she is gone, so I think it is more spotting.
That means that my Cycle is at CD30 today....test was also negative this morning.
Do you think it is Fertomid that prolongs a cycle?

I am so freaking sleepy right now! I need a nap...

I would suggest calling your gynae to discuss when to do the scan. To give yourself a basic idea of when you ov'd this past month take cd 1 and subtract 14. So i'd say you probably ov'd on 1 April. So work out what cd that was.

AnzelMama - that's great that FF has pinpointed ov for you!

BD - thanks so much for that green tea info - i had no idea it could help fertility! Will definitely look into it for future months.

JayBee - sounds like you had a great ov this month. Fx'd it's your lucky month!

AFM - still waiting. I often feel quite aware of my uterus area. Not sure if it's a full or heavy feeling or what. But not getting my hopes up as i often get that feeling after ov. So only time will tell. Hopefully by this time next week i'll know one way or the other.
