@Anzelmama - I have Fertility Friend on my phone and Ovia. I have been using Ovia this month. FF seems so complicated. But please tell me how you are doing this temp charting. What type of device are you using? I have some of those digital thermometers at home that I bouth when my son was a baby, will this work? Do I put it in my mouth, under arm....gosh I have no idea.
I am happy that you ovulated and I hold thumbs that the TWW goes by quickly so you can get your BFP this month.
You are on 100mg Fertomid right? My doctor said he may have to up my dose to 100mg later on. I actually have an extra strip of Fertomid, but I suppose I must not drink two a day without him telling me to????

@Ninies - Sorry about BFN. Remember that Fertomid normally does that in your first cycle on the meds. I had the same experience last month. Just don't give up! Try again! Have you tried Fertility Friend? It's an app you can download on your phone. It clearly identified when I ovulated this month. I'm also on Fertomid, so I was also unsure. Lemme know?

@Jehtha - Welcome to our group! Hope your stay here will be short and that you get your BFP soon! Unfortunately, I don't have a recipe for a baby boy - I'm just praying for a baby, regardless of gender! God's will....

@BD - Chin up, girl. If you upset yourself like this, it will make TTC even harder. Or so I heard. I'm trying to keep as calm and mellow as possible, not allowing anything to upset me. Just take hope in the fact that AF hasn't arrived yet. Maybe you will still get your BFP soon! Holding thumbs and sending you loads of baby dust!

AFM - Fertility Friend clearly identified this morning that I ovulated on Sunday, CD 15. I am thus 3dpo today. I experienced temp rise for three days in a row from 36.00 to 36.6 this morning. I have a very heavy feeling in my uterus area, as if I swallowed a rock. I have backache and dizzy spells, light pulling and cramping in uterus, fatigue, funny taste in my mouth, sore boobies/sensitive nips and decreased in appetite. So I dunno! I hate the TWW!!! The uncertainty and waiting drives me a little crazy.

This was my first re-round of Fertomid if I can call it that. I uset Fertomid 50mg for 3 months late last year from about July-Sept.

Yeah I have to go back for an ultrasound so he can see the eggy etc and he said my hubby must be close by because if things looks good we would do IUI then. But now that cycle day is on the Public holiday. As far as I know he is not open on Saturdays, but I think best will be if I give him a call and see what he suggests.

The thing is I am not 100% sure when I ovulated this last cycle as I wasnt going full out with the OPK's and I got the cheaper ones from Clicks which I struggled to read. I suppose I will have to get the clearblu ones next time.

According to the only OPK that was unclear for me, but the one line was more visible but not as dark - I assumed I ovulated. That was then on CD15. That is if I am not way off. So maybe going to the doc on CD14 could work?

Did you have a positive OPK yesterday then?

@Jehtha - Welcome, hope your stay is short!! I agree with Mrs Smith, they say the boy recipe is to BD as close to O as possible as they are fast swimmers and the girl recipe is to BD a couple of days before O as they are slow swimmers but last longer. Another thing if you want a boy you should have an orgasm cause it creates a much more suitable environment for boy swimmers and for a girl you shouldnt. But in the end its all still 50/50, you can try these methods but its not guaranteed. GL!

CD34 today Just feeling so depressed today, I still have lots of creamy CM, harder BBS and stabbing pains in my uterus. Nausea spells are gone and furthermore nothing else. Just wish AF would come. Hopefully this day will go quickly, I wanna get home, climb in bed and feel very sorry for myself. LOL!

@ Ninies, sorry to hear My gynae said that there is a 80% chance that Fertomid will not work on the first cycle but they chances go way up in the second cycle, will be holding thumbs that this will be your cycle of a BFP!

Do you have to go back to him for a ultrasound? I am exactly in the same boat as you as I need to make an appointment for CD13 for my next round of Fertomid 50mg if I do not conceive this cycle but I have no clue how long this cycle will be. Very tricky as you don't want to go to early or to late, can you make an appointment on the Saturday? if not in my opinion I would go on CD9 just so that he can check the size of the follicle and calculate what the mature egg size will be when you ovulate?

I am pretty sure that I ovulated last night on CD14 so for my next cycle I would like to go for the ultrasound on CD11-12.

Do you know on what CD you ovulated on this cycle?

Hope everyone is well!

Well I POAS this morning as promised, but BFN and AF arrived in all her glory today.
This made my cycle 29 days - it is usually 28 days.
I was really thinking I managed to conceive this cycle, I had so many signs...so I am a little heart broken this morning...

Luckily I am not alone in this and have this nice group of ladies to come to and share my disappointment....as I know most of you know how I am feeling.

So If today is CD 1 I will start with my second round of Fertomid 50mg tomorrow. Doctor prescribed it for day 2-6.
Doctor also said if I dont conceive in my first cycle I must go back to him on my next CD13, that means it will be on the 27th April which is a public holiday and a monday. Do you ladies think I should make an appointment for the 28th (CD14) for the scans, or should those scans be done on CD13? I just dont want to waste money in going for it, and then it is too late, then I will rather go the following month if I dont conceive...

So that is my sad story for the day....I am really down and AF emotions does not make it any better.

I don't have any 'recipes' for baby boys, but they say boy sperm swims faster than girl sperm, but girl sperm lasts longer. So general rule of thumb is if you want a girl, bd a day or two before ov, if you want a boy bd as close to ov as possible.

obviously everything is still open to chance though and there's no way to plan for sure.
