Yes, it is impossible.
Here I am....trying for the third time....and although one might think that my urgency to become pg cannot be as much as it was when we tried for #1 - the fact remains that TTC is very much on my mind most of my cycle. Whether one is trying out for the first time or for the fifth, the yearning for a baby tens to overwhelm us completely at times.
Must admit however, that I do feel less tense and stressed about it in comparison to 2009 when I just started out trying. With nr. 2, we were not stressed AT all and never expected that we would succeed naturally, so that might have also played a role. But, I've discussed that with my FS, and he explains it in other terms.
He says that my endo made the reproductive environment toxic and conceiving very difficult (not impossible). So, when we eventually succeeded via IVF, endo tends to decrease while being pg (due to hormones) and I then BF our firstborn exclusively until we managed to conceive during the 3rd month of trying and when she was only 9 months old. BF tends to also stop endo a little in its tracts. So....technically the 9 months of being pg with our 2, should have furtermore halted the endo growth and I have been BF him until a few days ago. So, I truly hope that my endo stays away long enough for us to fall pg naturally.
We do not have other issues. DH has wonderful sperm, my tubes are open, I had a myomectomy done, 2 laparoscopies to clean the endo, have cut out alcohol and caffeine completely since April 2012 and has been religiously taken fertility supplementes since before IVF until now.
Except for my age....maybe...
