@Anzel - Next time when your friends say: Just relax it will happen.... PUNCH them in the face. I am so over my friends saying the same damn thing. My friend asked me, do you really want a baby now, you never have time to do anything....(this is after she had her baby) They don't understand. And our DH, I think they do understand to a certain level, but they don't know how to express these feelings or understand what we are going through. I mean we have to live with it, we have to think about it daily, weekly, monthly. I told DH on Tuesday night that I feel like a failure, and no one understands that.
As a result of that I no longer speak to my mother about it, someone who never wanted children and who never had her own child, she doesn't understand (I am a foster child). My mom also accused me that I speak about babies all the time, which is not true, then she said that I must relax and just take a break. Little does she know that endometriosis can grow back and then I will probably have to go for a Lap scope again. My best friend will ask me now and then how I am, but that is where it stays. If my other friend ask me how everything is going I just say okay. She asked me why I am using Clomid and why we do all these things, because it will happen in God's time. But what they forget is that God actually gave those people the knowledge to help people like us. We don't understand, we probably never will. One thing is true though, if you have never experienced infertility you will not understand. Only a handful of people know our situation and they don't know how to approach you or even speak to you. It is as if you have a sickness that they can get. I am over people, over infertility and in general I need wine and chocolates.
After my miscarriage I spoke to my mother about it, and you know after the second time I spoke about it, she told me that that was enough now and that I have to get over it. I was so damned by that, she had done that before with friends passing away and so forth. Don't dare to say the same to her though.
What I am trying to say with this essay is that people don't understand. I am sorry that you feel lonely, you have to get someone who has experienced infertility and speak to them. Not people who waited 4,5,6,7 months to fall pregnant (No offence) those people are lucky and blessed beyond words. My heart goes out to everyone that is struggling, because the struggle is real. Go on pinterest and search infertility it will make you laugh (the funny pictures and sayings)
