Trying for a 2017 Baby

@Angel - I stand under correction, but I think you and I are running around the same cycle days? Today I am CD11

@Liza, best of luck with the injections, but most of all the emotions... I find I am an emotional wreck again (seemed to have forgotten how bad the emotional rollercoaster can be over the past months since my MC and all)

@ Everyone else - I pray that each of you are doing well!

AFM - I am hoping someone can shed some light on this for me, because I am still pretty new to all of this (fell preg after my 1st IUI last year) So this morning I went to my FS for my CD11 scan to check on my eggs and how they are maturing etc. So from CD3 until CD7 I had to take Femara. This morning when I went for my scan, I have 2 developing follicles, one measuring 13.5mm and one measuring 14.5mm. Now from what I understand, around CD11, your follicles should measure between 18mm and 22mm? My FS now gave me Fostimon 75IU. I must inject one dose tonight and then the 2nd dose tomorrow night and be at his room at 8am on Sunday morning for another scan. My first query is, am I simply getting my hopes up? Are my follicles honestly going to develop to the size they need to be? Is Fostimon the same as Ovidrel, or will I be injected with that also to release the eggs? The timeline is freaking me down, because if my calculations are correct, then I would have to have my IUI on CD14, which is Monday? What would happen if my follicles do not mature enough? Would I simply have to wait until my next cycle and then try again? Is it even possible for my follicles to grow to the required size over the next few days? Sorry for all the questions and the manic sounding message, but I am so close to tears and I feel like I don't know what answers to give my DH when he asks me these questions Any advise, knowledge or advise would REALLY be a blessing to me right now!

AFM...i'm ovulating and its weird because we aren't BD'ing!! first time in a long time haha! going to gynae tomorrow for a blood test just to make sure i'm definitely not pregnant before they do my op and then a final meet with her before Monday! Beautiful day in CPT today. Hope you are all doing well xxxxx

I am visiting my ob-gyn on Monday to see how far my eggs have come after 3 round on Fertomid (currently cd9) then we will find out if he will administer a trigger shot. FX that my eggs are big enough!

@ Jay-bee from Saturday it would be two injections in the evening and one in the morning. Hubby did my first shot last night. I was an absolute wreck and close to tears! Needless to say it was not sore at all. Not even a burn nothing! Checked this morning and i'm not even bruised!
As for the coffee i'm doing one cup per day which is fine with my FS. I do not have a craving for coffee at all! Rest of the day i drink water.

Good luck with your cycle! You never know it only takes one!!

@ Sammy, what a sad story so sorry that you had to go through that. *hugs*

@ Liza, how are you doing? How did it go with the injections? As from Saturday do you have to take the 3x injections all at once? All for a good cause! How is it going with cutting out coffee and the headaches?

AFM, went for my Progesterone test yesterday at 4DPO as per Fertility Friend (early for the test I know) but it showed a really good ovulation
I am rather shocked as I do not ovulate on my own so this is a surprise. We BD'ed just once and that was the day before ovulation. So will see but I really doubt that things will be this easy for us!

@ jooste Ja short! I'm doing Femara tablets , Gonal F, Menopur and Cetrotide.

For now its Gonal F starting tonight with the femara twice daily. Day 5 Cetrotide starts and on Day 7 i start with Menopur Vailes only 1

So from Satuday it's 3 injections per evening...

Doing the first scan on Day 9
