Trying for a 2017 Baby

So exciting news on our side. My sister is just confirming with her bank today and she will give us the funds for the IVF. We have a 60 day savings account but i really do not want to wait for those funds. So if all goes well we will get the money from her and then pay her back in 60 days.
FX that this could be our opportunity!

@ Ayesha I do agree that our marriages are worth fighting for does not matter what the issues are. I really hope that your brother figures his problems out quickly. Having that stress on you as well is just draining.

Hi ladies

I have been so lost past few days...we hashed it out last night and i told him if this carrys on im out....his little brother is having girl problems and between my mil and sis in law and my self we are going mad because he is on a downward spiral ... i think it made me realise that what i have is worth fighting for....not sure if i will carry on ttc right now though

@liza thats amazing hope you get a surprise bfp before the ivf and you can use your bonus towards baby stuff....

I can honestly say that if it wasn't for our friend we wouldn't have even thought of doing IVF. We discussed the issue and decided that we will use my bonus and save up some extra and start in Jan/Feb 2017. In the meantime DH is using supplements you never one when one slips threw!

Glad to hear that you are planning your IVF sooner as i member you said Jan 2017?

I know that there are ladies here that has done IVF before. How was the whole experience? Did any of the procedures hurt? What are the do's and don't s?

My biggest "worry" is spending the money and not getting my BFP .... Why is it such a gamble!

@Liza wow that is an amazing price!!! I have friends who have paid triple that so I think go for it!! i know there is a lot to think about should you fall pregnant with more than one baby but if you don't try you will always wonder....go for it!!!!!! xxxx

@charrie I would get a clearblue if you haven't tried it already, or go for blood tests as Chanti has suggested. Fingers crossed xxx

How is everyone else doing? Im not sure of my CD today, been so so busy so have not paid much attention yet this month which is suiting me fine. Have gynae visit booked in September to discuss my laparoscopy and get booked in so i'm kind of looking forward to that. Otherwise all fine

I havent been around in a while but I have been trying to keep up to date!

@Liza - That IVF price is fantastic!!! Ours is R50,000 so grab that opportunity while you have it. You will most likely find that your gynae is leaving out his fee and that you are only paying for the lab and meds costs.

@Charrie - I would try a different brand of tests or opt for a blood test to confirm if you are in fact preggo or late. Those tests def sound fishy.

@Ayesha - Wow hun I am sorry to hear about your troubles!! A woman can only take so much and should not be walked all over! I hope your hubby catches a wake up.

@Jooste - I am praying for you hun!

Trying to catch up with everyone, I will get there!

AFM, not much news! Can hopefully start our IVF Oct/Nov, just waiting for things to fall into place now.

Thinking that price is good!!!
During our IVF in 2012 (also got "special prices") we paid R26 000. So....if you can do a IVF in 2016 for R15 000....you are very lucky! Go for it!
