Time to begin TTC 2018!

@ Bellyh, we only swayed for 2 months but now just going to go with the flow. When we swayed I ate loads of tomatoes, potatoes, salt etc and cut down on dairy. I also checked my pH and timed BD'ing. When I received my blazing OPK then we bd 24h after that and then another 24h after that again. It makes it on O day and the day after. I have always been tracking my cycles but now used OPK's from CD10 straight through and sometimes even 4-5 times a day. It gives you such a small chance to fall pregnant as you have to BD on O day or the day after. We conceived our girl BD every other day and it happened days leading up to O. So this cycle we are going to just BD every other day and every day close to O and pray that we get our BFP this cycle.

How is everyone else, can you smell the holidays

AFM, CD9 and we will be starting our BD;ing marathon today. AF should arrive on the 1st Jan but hoping she will skip me!

Tomorrow is our last day at work before we shut down for the holidays, I am really excited as it's been very stressful at work and don't think it's been helping with TTC. I think the holidays will do us all a world of good!

@ Bellhearts, welcome. My little girl is turning 2 in May and we tried swaying for a boy for the past 3 cycles but now going to just BD every second day. Good luck with your BFP this cycle.

@ Ayesha, just AF showed up right on time. Sorry about AF showing and yes it is heartbreaking when it happens. Congrats on passing, driving can be daunting at times especially when there are road hogs on the road.

@ Nicola, thanks, it is disappointing but I had lovely wine over the weekend which helped. I am on CD5 so right behind you. A Christmas surprise would be so awesome. I can just imagine how busy you are as it is really boiling! Feels like I am melting and the worse is feeling the heat with water restrictions. Let us know about your appointment on the 20th.

AFM, my mom has a beach house so going there for 3 weeks to relax and de-stress starting this Friday whoo hoo. I have 5 OPK's which I am going to use but going to be BD'ing every other day from CD8 and then every day when I get my +OPK. But not going to stress over charting, temping and timing. If I don't get my BFP this month then we are going to take a break in Jan and then start again in Feb.
I really really hope this month we all get our BFP's

I'm praying for a christmas miracle for me too! AFM...CD7. Have stopped all medication (Fertomid) and opk's - we having a break and try bd for fun for a while haha! work is CRAZY busy with this heat (hubby and I own/run an airconditioning business) so we have been flat out since the heatwave last week, it was 40c her on Wednesday my word it was hectic!! So bd'ing has taken a back seat for a while we are both so exhausted. But anyway its nice to just have a break for a while and not think about ttc. Seeing my FS on the 20th Dec to discuss options for next year.

Hope we get some good news this festive season ladies! we deserve it!

AFM, we have a daughter who will be 3 in July 2018. Hoping to conceive a boy, using the Clear Blue Digital Ovulation tests. I am currently on 3rd day of cycle. I have very irregular cycles between 29 - 35 days. Really thought I would get a BFP earlier in Dec 2017 before my AF, as I had all the symptoms, but unfortunately not. Have started drinking red raspberry leaf tea from Dischem today in hopes that it will give a bit of a fertility boost.

AFM AF showed up on Friday cd16 I am so confused and heart broken so we decided no more charting no more opks but will keep on with the meds and just pray t god. It's all in his hands after all. Oh I passed my Learners so look out world I'm on t the road which I'm petrified of
