Hi Ladies

I tested with a clearblue opk on Mon morning and got a smiley face. I tested again tonight (tues) and got a negative.

So does that mean I prob ovulated between Mon morning and Tues eve? Do I still BD?

Thanks for the advice

@ Carien, my blood test result was a 38 at 9DPO and my little girl is perfect and fiesty. Do not stress!

@ Nicola, so jealous as wouldve loved to see Johnny Clegg!! If I don't get a BFP this cycle then we are also going to "go with the flow" and not take any ttc stress. Good luck to you.

@ Ayesha, whoo hoo almost time to use the OPK's.

AFM, so disappointed as we decided that we will only BD once we have received a +OPK as for my last cycles I had 3 days of +OPK's before temp spike and -OPK which confirmed ovulation.
This cycle I had a -OPK on Saturday and then a beautiful +OPK on Sunday. Then on Monday I had +OPK and a temp spike and today a -OPK and temp spike, which means I probably ovulated on Sunday! :headbang: :swear: So we only BD'ed on Sunday and yesterday, now I have a very very slim chance as I only BD on ovulation day +1, I was hoping to BD a few days leading up to O. Very disappointed and just know that I am out this cycle.

Carien - your boxing class is a perfect workout especially because you have been doing it before you were pregnant so I don't think you have anything to worry about. The only thing with the rebound is that it is jumping on a small trampoline and apparently jumping is not so good for pregnancy and also HIIT is a lot of crunches and abdominal exercise which also puts a lot of strain on my abdomen. I use to cramp very bad after my sessions.

My 1st appointment is 15th Dec. Also the day I go on leave. 3 more weeks to go!

I hate Google sometimes! You are right in saying that it comes up with the worst case scenarios first! When I found out I am pregnant at 11DPO I went to doctor the next day and he couldn't even see ANYTHING on the screen with the internal scan. Not the sac or anything. So he told me that it was either a "fake positive" or an ectopic pregnancy!!! I did about 5 pregnancy tests before I went to the dr and did a digitial one that said "1-2 weeks" - so yes it was pretty early. I went for bloods and it was 104. (Probably too low) Waited 48 hours and it was 344 - so dr told me that everything looks fine and that I am definitely pregnant and it cannot be an ectopic if your HcG count increased double. So the Dr kind of freaked me out with the whole "fake positive" and ectopic pregnancy but he was wrong!!!
I think your score looks pretty good! And it is early as well. So try not to worry. It doesn't help anyway. I have heard and read that cramping is normal and as long as their is now sharp pains or bleeding you should relax.

Hi ladies!

So happy to see al the good news here :cheer:

you all really getting busy ;) :tmi:

Still praying for all you ladies waiting for your BFP and I'm sure its around the corner :)

@carien, when I was 4weeks5days me and google had completely convinced myself that I am in fact having a ectopic pregnancy, I had a terrible pain around where my left ovary sits, I was showing quite early and I got so dizzy that the whole room felt like it was spinning. My doctors office was not getting back quickly enough so I went to the ER were they eventually got back to me and told me to go to their office. They did a scan and the baby was definitely in my uterus, what was causing the pain was the corpus luteum cyst that was quite big. My doctor had us do blood work which increased by 82.5% in 48 hrs, so she was happy that its definitely not a ectopic. I am now 8w4d. but in the same breath I want to say that my sister found out she is pregnant as well, we probably had a difference of max a week, well one morning she told her fiancé that something felt off, she had excruciating pain and was feeling very faint, they went to hospital and she did have an ectopic, her tube burst and they had to do a C-section cut to fix it, she lost 2 liters of blood and literally turned around at the grave, so my advice would be that if you are scared rather call your doctor. My sister had none of these symptoms of ectopic that google explains, it totally happens out of the blue (her bloods were also on 6100 so ya its hard to say)

My 4w5d scan, baby and sac is the dark spot at the bottom (we have since head the heart beat as well)

I'm hoping that my boxing class is not considered too high intensity, it is pretty intense cardio. As far as I understand I can continue doing what I was doing before I was pregnant just not start something completely different. But I guess it would be best to confirm with doc.

@Reese, when is your first doc apt? I am guessing my doc will let me make an apt once I get the test results back for tomorrow's bloods

You know, I have said this before and I will say it again, Dr Google is not your friend. I think it gives (by default) the worst possible things that something could be first and only after that does it tell you '...oh but you most likely dont have any of that, its most likely nothing...' I looked up these twinges that I am getting and first on screen - ectopic pregnancy so I look at that and of course its all doomsday and gloom, and the fact that my hCG was still quite low of course could also be a sign, but it could also just be that I got an early positive. An app I'm using puts me at 4 weeks today, so really it was quite early, and being in the 3-4 week range based on the test results I would guess is then quite accurate. Anyway, moral of the story - Dr Google IS NOT YOUR FRIEND! There is nothing I can go about my hCG scores, I pray that they increase, but of course if not then the Big Guy has a different plan for us, all we can do is pray and have faith.

Hope everyone is having a great day :)

@CarienM - your story sounds exactly like mine. I also never got a positive on my OPK's the last few cycles and my ovulation is also around CD13 / 14 - I don't really know. My cycles also differ from 25-28 days. I think I conceived on CD13 and my LMP was 21st Oct. So I just worked around that and it ended up being on my hubby's birthday! :-)
I cant wait for my 1st scan to see what it will be.

Winter babies are so cool! My eldest was born on 18th August and I prefer that because you can dress them warm and snug and cuddle them in a fluffy blanket! It is so nice. You will enjoy it! It was just the bath time that was a pain. I use to switch on the heater in the bathroom and bedroom so that when I bathed her, it wasn't that cold. She still hated the whole bathing experience though!

I am also still exercising. I do pilates, HIIT and Rebound during the week, but doctor told me to avoid the Rebound and HIIT during the pregnancy so I am only doing pilates and walking now. I thought about maybe trying the pregnancy work out videos on youtube as soon as the tiredness and nausea subsides. I just don't have the energy to start with that now!

@NicolaF - that sound like an amazing anniversary! And it's a good thing to let things go a bit. Only good things can come from it. Good luck and your turn for a bfp is coming!
